Gorgona Apartments

myself and two friends stayed here in august rooms clean and tidy. the hotel is run by to nice brothers tasos and george. these guys are very funny and will make u laugh allday long. the hotel is very good value for money. it has a pool bar that sells everything u need. i would recomend this hotel to anyone. long bobby and bloodnut.

Gorgona is the worse place ive stayed in on a holiday, wont be back there, only good thing was the location of the place.

I went to Faliraki last week and stayed at Gorgona. The staff are the friendlist people you can ever meet. The food is top notch, and such reasonable prices! the drinks, they're cheap too, except cans of coke, they're cheaper down the shop. Cleaned regularly. Good facilities for what you need. Enough cups, pots, pans, plates, bowls and cuttlery. Shower didn't fit on the shower hook, but when you're in Faliraki is that really your priority? comfetable beds! One of the best possible locations. 2 minutes down the road and you've got the shop. 5/10 minutes and you're on Club Street, at the end of Club Street is Bar Street, and Liquid just round the corner. It's close enough to walk down for an awesome night out, but far enough away so it's not on your door step. Gates never lock, therefore you can come and go as you please at whatever hour. You can take friends back to your room, as you don't have to have anything to walk into the premises. No nasty bugs or anything like that. nice pool and enough sun beds too. the beach is within walking distance, about 10 minutes away. All in all, amazing place, amazing people and would highly recommend going there if you're going to Faliraki. If i ever go back, i will stay there for sure, & i'm considering going back just to see the staff again!

Room facilities are sadly lacking light fittings hanging out of the wall ice box doors missing on fridges towel rails missing in bathroom cooking pans and pots missing in most rooms. 24 hr bar closes at around ten in september open about nine am kettles missing or faulty, so its basically make the most of what you get, good location. Tassos is ok, but george lacks enthusiasm

Looking for a late deal we saw the Gorgona Studios and Apartments in Faliraki, only paid £90 for 2 ads 8 nights accomodation. Only saw a couple of reviews on this website, couldnt find any on trip advisor so was a bit worried. When we got there it was night time so oculdnt see much, theres no reception but there is a sign up and it has your name and tells you what room your in and the key is left in your door so you can easily get in. Was surprised when we came into the rooms as it was very clean and quite big. Nothing at all i can complain about with the price we paid. Beds were comfy, there was a wardrobe, balcony with tables and chairs, a fridge/freezer, 2 single beds, kitchonette, shower (basic shower no shower curtain and water does get everywhere but we didnt mind). The pool is good sized, its quite deep, theres always plenty of sunbeds, they serve food at the bar but we didnt have any. You pay aorund 4 euro for a bottle alcopop or beer at hotel bar. The cocktails there are 5 euro and are lovely and soooo strong, stronger than any you get in the bars in Faliraki. Its a 1 minute walk onto the main road through Faliraki where you get your bars and restaurants, 10 min walk to beach and 10 min walk to the square. So its in a fab location, its near a busy road so you can hear traffic but it didnt wake me up at night, its not all young poeple there were couples and families, only got woken up once cause of drunk people but nevermind. Best restaurant in Faliraki is called Zorbas, if you turn left at the main road 9on way to the waterpark) its up there after the sun palace hotel... best food we ate in faliraki, the steaks are beautiful and the roast potatoes are the best ive ever had and its really reasonably priced. the staff are lovely. We went there a couple of times as we liked it so much. Water park is great too only 20 euros each... if we went back to faliraki would definetly stay at gorgona apts again

Stayed at the Gorgona Studios in Falaraki, after flying out on a last minute allocation on arrival holiday with my girlfriend (34) and her daughter (6). We were originally allocated another hotel in Falaraki but this was overbooked by the tour operator, hence our stay at the Gorgona along with another family with older children.

Initially we had some problems with the room concerning safety but this matter was dealt with immediately and adequately by the hotel owner. The pool was excellent, it wasn't crowded and plenty of sunbeds for everyone, people did just drop by and swim but it wasn't an issue. Pool bar wasn't expensive and the owner Tas did his very best to make our stay comfortable.

By the end of the holiday I took the owners details as I feel we would stay there again, but arrange our own flights. This seems to be quite common from other guests I spoke to during my stay.

I would definitely recommend this studio style self catering apartment in Faliraki - Very good value for money. The Gorgona Apartments are in a quieter part of Faliraki. I particularly enjoyed the karaoke night in the bar. Very near to a theme park and water park and it's not too far from all the bars, clubs and restaurants. Beware the free bars though - very cheap hangover inducing alcohol! I shall return here again with my boyfriend (26) as he enjoyed it as much as me (23).

Gorgona Apartments - The bar men were great because they were very friendly and nice and helped you when you need something or directions. The swimming was great and we had so much fun in there with the bar man and he was playing with us all the time. You have bar and club street that you can go into too late and we had so much fun and we are hoping to go back in 2 years time after Florida.
