Booked To Go Here As It Was Reasonably Priced Alth

Booked to go here as it was reasonably priced although still expensive as it was half term. Only nice things about this hotel is cleanliness of rooms and resturant. Food was always cold although there was a microwave to heat it...shouldnt have to really and bread was stale, snack bar food was inedible and was refried alot of the time.

End of season dont bother going, gets worse, they stop cleaning the pools so i wouldnt let my 14 year old in it...bugs and cups floating in it.

All inclusive? I think not!! Had to pay for beach bar and if you wanted to sit out of the chilly air in the Zues Bar then they charged you as well.

Excursions dont run at end of season either and hotel is in the middle of nowhere.

More like a 2 star hotel and we will not be returning.

This Resort Was Advertised As 5 Star. It Is At Mos

This resort was advertised as 5 star. It is at most a 3 star. The food is very limited, drinks seems watered down and staff not polite or helpful. Accomodation is very basic and certainly not of any quality. Full of kids and one of the noisiest places we have ever had the misfortune to stay at. I would not recommend this to anyone who enjoys good quality holidays. Would never go back to the Greek version of 'Butlins'.

Summary.

Very disappointing. The hotel could be a good holiday venue but not whilst the staff have little or no desire to please. The food, bar and entertainment do not warrant anything more than a 3 * rating. We will not go back and would not recommend the hotel to anyone

Room Was Fine, However We Found The 'all Inclusive

Room was fine, however we found the 'all inclusive' status is mis-leading, we had to pay for lots of things -

We arrived at the Miraluna Kiotari Bay hotel and were given what we were told were 'top grade' all inclusive wrist bands (grey with LTI lettering). As a previous report said, we had to pay for a lot of things despite the 'all inclusive' status.

Cocktails. When we're on holiday we like to drink cocktails in the evening, and when we eventually found a bar on the complex that served cocktails (at a different hotel), we were told we had to pay for them. The only ones on the all inclusive menu were a sweet and a sour cocktail that frankly we thought tasted awful.

Water. At night we like to take a glass of water to bed and when I asked at reception where I could get water, I was told that if I wanted water I had to buy bottles of it in the hotel supermarket! I pointed out my 'top grade' status but to no avail. Typically, the hotel supermarket prices were ridiculously high. The next day we asked the barman to fill our bottles with water which he happily did until the hotel management told him he was not to fill our bottles any more for reasons of hygiene.

Beach Bar. We went down to the beach bar and tried to get a soft drink, and had to pay for them. We were told that all drinks at the beach bar had to be paid for.

No wonder the beach was deserted!

Service. All found the 'cleaners' ever did was to just change the sheets and towels.

Food. I'm not a fussy eater but on several occasions I could not find anything even remotely appetising to me in the restaurant. Bacon was only available at breakfast on two of the mornings during our week there. Breakfast was advertised as being served until 10.00 a.m. One morning we went in at 9.45 and all the croissants had gone. When I asked for more I was told 'no more'. I had to argue the point and in the end they reluctantly laid more on.

When we arrived, the room we were given was on the second floor, yet the lift only started on the first floor! There were too many steps for us, so we asked for a move and were given a different room. The manageress, in fairness, was lovely and was really helpful.

That apart, I'm struggling to come up with anything positive about the place. A few weeks ago we stayed at the Aldemar Paradise Royal Mare in Kalithea. That was really good and would definitely return. If the directors of the Kiotari Bay Hotel want to know about all inclusive deals, I think they should book in at the Aldemar Paradise Royal Mare in Kalithea for a week.

All in all we found it extremely disappointing and I would neither return nor recommend it.

To Everybody Who Already Booked Or Will Book In Ki

To everybody who already booked or will book in Kiotari Bay Miraluna. The resort is really nice. Pirate boat, pools, Chinese, Italian and international food, night club, etc. Just don't get confused; Kiotari Bay is an international resort of 4 stars and Miraluna Village is mainly German and has 5 stars. As for the entertainment, in Miraluna is just German. In Kiotari, the entertainment is international. During the season 2007, there were big problems with the entertainment, as the team who was running it during 2004 and 2006, didn't come in 2007. We heard that during this season, the hotel changed six different teams, but all of them unable do handle it. After many troubles and complains from the guests (mainly from the ones who came for the second or third time), the old team finally came back in the end of the season, in September. The change was immediate. We heard that their chief is coming back in 2008.The beach is not very nice, but the sea is really clean. The whole resort is safe for the kids, who looked to have a great time. Don't miss Lindos and Prassonisos. We will definitely go back next year.

If you are going to Rhodes then the location of this hotel may seem a little remote so car hire is recommended, but for a peaceful relaxing holiday then this is spot on. The food is first class with exceptional choice and presented wonderfully. All in all you cant fail to have a fantastic time here.
