The Eleni Hotel, Lindos

My son and I have just returned from a stay at the Eleni Hotel in Lindos. Our plane was delayed so we didn't arrive until midnight, but not only did we receive the most friendly of welcomes we also had fresh rolls made for us and cold drinks provided.

Our room was spotlessly clean, as was the pool and the grounds of the hotel. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, so much so that when a taxi failed to turn up to take us to a family wedding, the owner Eleni got out her car and took us to the venue herself. That's what I call service!

Some of our fellow guests had stayed at the Eleni many times because they just didn't want to go anywhere else. It was my first stay there and I suspect that it may not be my last.
