Ireon, Cohyli Hotel

I have stayed at the lovely Cohyli Hotel 3 times now and every time it gets better.

The owner is one of the friendliest people on the island, and her cooking is fantastic!! Her brother catches fish everyday, which she and her mother turn into the most tasty meals. The owner is fantastic, so laid back and unhurried, I have certainly found my piece of paradise !!

The hotel is 3 minutes walk away from the centre of Ireon. and you can walk all the way by the sea, most relaxing, and flat, no hills around here. Ireon is lovely and peaceful at night, but gets a bit busier at night as the locals like to eat in Ireon as there are many good restaurants as well as The Garden Restaurant at Hotel Cohyli. The airport is 10 minutes away, yes you do get some aircraft noise during the day, only 3 or 4 land, and that's only a couple of days a week, but when YOU land you're only a short taxi ride away (about 8 euros) and your holiday starts straight away!
