Room 13!
Just arrived and Sandy is lovely.
However room 13 should be condemned!
Whilst writing this we have been sitting listening to a welcome talk and waiting to hear if or ever we will be given a room that is not like a prison cell!
When booking make sure you never get room 12 or 13!!
An awful start to our holiday

Good No Frills Accommodation.
Just enjoyed a lovely week at Sandy Villas. We had a studio room for two with a kitchenette equipped with sink, fridge and hot plate. Not much in the way of pans but you only had to ask. Decent shower room with a window and plenty of hot water.
Sandy offers a safe, fans, air conditioning and delivered bottled water, if you decline your decision is politely accepted no hard sell.
Pool is large and clean, there are plenty of lounger available. Pool bar is fine with a large beer costing €2 and good snacks etc.
This is classic simple Greek self catering accommodation and very much a family business. Offers good value for money.
The accommodation was very clean, the towels and sheets were well worn but clean and fresh, they were changed during the week. The pillows are a bit thin but I always pack our own so not a problem. We also took a travel kettle which made boiling water so much quicker.
Co-Op and 24 hour bakery just up the road are both good. There is a good variety of bars and cafes to sort all budgets.

Just Came Back From Santorini. We Stayed In Sandy'
Just came back from Santorini. We stayed in Sandy's villas for 2 weeks. How could anyone say it is the best hotel they stayed in? Yes the pool area is lovely but thats where it ends. Rooms are small, wadrobes smell of mould. But the the worst part of the holiday experience was an Olimpic Rep -Alison- totally unhelpful, has no interest in anyones holiday. We had to share a balcony with other people, when we complaned she said she couldn t do anything for us, so we decided to go travelling around islands for the second week. All she was interested in is making money on selling excursions which were half price just down the road. In general holidays was ok but would not recommend an Olimpic Holidays or Sandy Villas

We Stayed Here For 2 Weeks In July. It Is A Beauti
We stayed here for 2 weeks in July. It is a beautiful little hotel, very clean and beautifully decorated. Sandy who is a really lovely lady and ensured our stay was enjoyable. The location of the hotel is perfect, close to the beach and with a bus stop right beside it. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and would definitely return to sandy villas

We Had The Misfortune To Holiday At Sandy Villas I
We had the misfortune to holiday at Sandy Villas in September 2009 - the place is an absolute disgrace and I would not recomend it to anyone. Our towels were changed twice during our two week stay - we ended up buying new ones ourselves. We were allocated our room at the airport, but on arrival at Sandy Villas we were told that due to unforseen circumstances we were being put into a different room. The fridge was right next to the bed and the toilet two further steps away. After complaining (which is someting I have never had to do before on holiday) we were moved to a better room - we later found out that Sandy was saving our original room for one of her regulars. I have holidayed many times in Greece and am fully aware that standards are usually basic, but this place is terrible - don't go there - ever!!!!!

Sandy Villas - What A Dive. Yes, The Pool Is Big B
Sandy Villas - What a dive. Yes, the pool is big but thats it. No TV, No Toaster, 2 Knives 2 forks, 1 spoon and a saucepan. 1 Toilet roll for 3 females and one man to last for 2 days and dare ask her for another and she looks at you like your the devils spawn.
The rooms are filth. The dungeon rooms should not be let to anyone from the civilised world. We were in room 31 which had had 2 single beds squeezed in so one was next to the toilet. The toilet stank of stale Urine. We reported it and it would be done but I just couldnt be bothered to talk to Sandy. She has a good con that she does. When you arrive, she tells you she loves you all blah blah blah then says special offer, 55 euros for a safety deposit and a fan and then says 3 euros for 6 bottles of water. Ok, so you give her 60 Euros (How many have 1 euro coins on arrival?? Do you get your change?? NO, this happened to 6 couples who I spoke too.
You are not allowed to eat or drink your own food round the pool?? WHY because of Tax reasons. What a load of rubbish. We had family staying in 6 different appartments as we were there for a wedding and all of them could eat their own food. ITS SELF CATERING.
Then the wife burnt something while cooking and i noticed the smoke alarm hadnt gone off. I looked and there was no batteries in. I told the rep who to her credit was excellent and she went round all her clients rooms AND NOT ONE had a battery in. The Olympic rep came up that afternoon and tore into sandy infront of everyone. She was livid.
Then on a Monaday (Baring in mind no cleaner Sunday) we had run out of toilet roll (We had one on Saturday for 1 man and 3 women) and my wife asked for one for me, she was told she would have to wait until the cleaner had come. ER EXCUSE ME, so I went and she said, you will have to wait for the cleaner I said we need one now (Little girl sat on Tolilet) and she said, and I quote, "I tell you to go to your room and wait for cleaner) to which she got a few expletives questioning who she was talking to and told to get some loo roll NOW. Her daughter did get us some.
All in all, this is 2-3 star for one reason only, the pool. If the pool was smaller it would be 1 star. She claims it is the biggest on the Island, but walk to the main road and theres one there bigger.
Really disappointed as we paid the most for our 2 weeks than any of the others and to be honest, it was Cr@p
I found this review very helpful because...it shows some people might as well stop at home.Having visited Sandys in August 2006 and having had a wonderfull time with my new partner we again returned in August 2009 to be greeted like one of the family and again to have an amazing holiday..wonderfull apartments wonderfull island amazing family ...keep it up Sandy,Manolli,Leftari and little Vangelis(mini manolli)hope to returnAugust 2010

Sandy Herself Is Only Really Interested In One Thi
Sandy herself is only really interested in one thing - how to seperate you from your money. All her goods are outrageously priced compared to local shops and tavernas. The final straw on the day of departure - a mere two hours after the 11am vacate requirement she offered our facilities back to us for a further 10 euros.

The Rooms Were Very Big With Great Views And Extre
The rooms were very big with great views and extremely helpful staff. The swimming pool is very big and the pool bar provide tastefully meals. Food, service, location and accommodation all excellent. I would recommend Sandy Villas.
Q&A
I was just wondering if anyone knew how far away Sandy Villa was from Phevos Villas both of which are in Perissa? We have friends who are staying there at the same time. We were hoping we weren't too far away.We would welcome any information. Many thanks.
