Laganas, Christina Apartments

The Christina Studios are ideal for young adults on a tight budget. It is not recommended for a traveler who expects more than what is found in most Greek Hotels. If the Plaza is your cup of tea, and fits your budget than stay there. You will be disappointed with these facilities. However if you are able to overlook certain aspects then you will find these accommodations are just what you are looking for.

after reading all the reviews on the christiana im really shocked that many people has had a good review to write ive been to laganas on numerous occasions i appreciate all greek appartments, studios are very basic but the christiana needs pulling down and rebuilt, the rooms are stinking to the core the pool is dirty full off spiders and when we told them about spider in the pool the response back was 'wot do u want us to do about it?' one toilet roll in the room to last two off us in a week well to me that is out off order the maid came in once throughout our stay changed the sheets and left two clean towels no floors were washed bathroom not cleaned it was absoulity disgusting staff are so ignorant only like you wen u go to bar to buy food or drink , anyone going with teenage girls keep them away from spiros he is a pervert,i wud never ever recommend this dump to any one think twice before thinking off giving it a try.

Was a bit scared after reading the reviews but i loved it here! Staff were so friendly and rooms were basic but fine. They had air con too which was great. Was perfect for a big group of girls like us! Loved it would definately stay there again!

AMAZING recomend it to everyone !!! great for group holiday with younger people the accomidation is basic but being honest that is all you will need the staff are very friendly, most importantly the holtel is clean and spacious and for a group of girls that was all we wanted!

Our family had a great time at Christina, Spyros and family were very welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. The rooms were the usual basic Greek self catering type rooms and the cleaner came in every day. The pool was great and the bar was very reasonable with nice food served all day and night. If we went back there we would definately go back to Christina.

Excellent is the word I would use to describe the Christina, thats because we were a group of lads looking for something basic and cheap. The owners of the hotel are class aswell, if you respect them then they respect you so much, as a group of lads we were worried about the noise we would be able to make alot of noise but we were able to be ourselves.

The pool is brilliant, it was clean and alot of people are around the pool throughout the day so its a good laugh, the music is always pumping. Really good pool bar aswell, the food was topnotch.

The rooms arent the greatest but we didnt let it put us off, we werent there to rate the room we were there to have a good time, not judge the bed sheets.

All n all its a quality hotel and if we ever return to Zante then we will be returning to Spyros and his family.

Oh and one last thing, if you do go to Zante then make sure you go down to the beach and hire a speedboat, 8 ofus done and got a speedboat out for 2 hours, best thing ever.

Have been visiting the Christina Apartments with family for years now and would recommend it to anyone...It is basic, but most apartments in Greece are unless your willing to pay the extra for it. There isnt much equipment in the room to cook but they do offer a large variety of food at the bar and there are so many restaurants close by to choose from. (Who wants to cook why they are on holiday really anyway!!) The pool area is amazing...beautiful surroundings a large pool and baby pool and a large selection of sunbeds so your very rarely left without a sunbed. There is a shop located minutes away which has everything you will need. The owners are lovely people who always go out of there way to help us, thats why we return every year! Drinks at the bar are at a good price, you have to pay extra for drinks such as WKD's etc as they are not local and cost to get them imported. Its located just a few minutes walk from the beach and 10 minutes down a road to the strip. Perfect location as its a easy walk and out of the way of all the noise! Over the winter they have fitted air con so will make a difference to past reviews! Good Value for money and if u respect the family who run it, they will respect you back.

A complete hole,rooms were filthy and smelt disgusting,blankets in wardrobe smelt musty,couldn't open bathroom window due to foliage that had overgrown it.There were scum marks round the green rim round the edge of the pool.Would never go back there.

It was a nightmare, the staff are so rude. We got moved to different apartments they were amazing. Chritina Studios rooms were disgusting, we had no clean towels, our lights were all hanging off the walls. We are only 20 and love to get drunk n party hard, we were never going to be in the room a lot but it was just disgusting a wouldnt go back. So glad we got moved.

Can I just say Christina Apartments was absolutely pathetic. Seriously the rooms were dated and run down and I found graffiti in the draw by one of the uncomfortable and dirty beds that dated back to 1994! the blasting music went on till all hours of the morning making it impossible to get any sleep. The room smelled foul and the crusty blankets in the wardrobe made unpacking in our first room impossible. We were told that this hotel was 3 stars but it didn't even deserve 1! The pool was grimy and people had actually written their names in the green slime around the edges of it! The sun loungers were old and dirty. We were moved to another room which was marginally better than the first one but was still very basic and the music was still very loud in the second room. Every other guest we spoke to was unhappy and making a complaint. The rep was completely useless and had no clue how to do her job properly. All in all I would not recommend this hotel to anyone certainly not a family with young children!
