First Class Holiday Thanks To Brioni Mare Staff

I have just returned from a week that was spent in the Brioni Mare Hotel. The foood was excellent, the rooms were cleaned and immaculate. Overall the beach, Gym, Restaurant, Pools and Jacuzzi were all great. Overall this hotel has had some unfair reviews by some English Guest which I feel is un warranted. Alexander the Restaurant Manager with his staff could not have made our stay any more enjoyable. I will definately be returning. Thanks to all at the Brioni Mare.

On a negative the only poor thing about the resort and not the hotel is the constant barrage of fake goods sellers, who are extremely over priced and relentless all day long.

Brioni Mare In Lido Di Jesolo, Italy, Is An Exampl

Brioni Mare in Lido Di Jesolo, Italy, is an example of a great all round hotel experience.

Across the board this hotel excelled, with great food, stylish surroundings, and a cosmopolitan atmosphere.

It was conveniently located near the seafront, with its own private beach area, and was within walking distance of the local shops.

The service I encountered in the short time I was there, was superb. The staff were always there to assist when my Italian faltered.

I would thoroughly recommend staying at this hotel and I fully intend to stay there again.

There Is No Way The Brioni Mare Would Be Given A 4

There is no way the Brioni Mare would be given a 4 star rating in the U.K. The food in the hotel is awful. I was extremely disappointed as I had been told Italians are the best cooks in the world. None of them must live in Lido di Jesolo! Me and my partner are real 'foodies' and had half board here. We ate out as much as we could afford to, as omlettes with jam, frankfurter sausages stuffed with processed cheese and fried eggs for an evening meal don't really do it for us. If you stay here, EAT OUT!!! That is if you can find anywhere nice. As a resort, this place is the Venetian version of Blackpool, very built up and swarming with tourists. Many of the shopkeepers and restaurantiers are also extremly rude, ignoring tourists and serving locals standing behind you in queues, etc. The beach is nice but forget any hope of finding isolation. It's a bit less touristy down at Faro. I highly recommend a trip to Verona which is beautiful and though busy feels much less claustrophobic than Venice. In Venice the streets near P. Roma are nice to explore as are much less crowded. It was very hard to see the main Venetian sights for all the people there. I would love to go back out of season to see it properly. I would definitely not go back to Lido di Jesolo, but if you like expensive beer, purpose built resorts, chips, ice cream and pizza you'll probably like it!

We have just returned after two weeks at the Brioni di Mare and totally disagree with this review. The evening meals were exceptional with five choices for each of the three courses, our only quibble were the literal translations on the menu - we never did find out what the option of "Smooth Hound" was!! My only complaint about the food would be the freshness of the rolls and no fresh fruit available at breakfast. The hotel was very clean and very comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful.

We were aware that the resort was very commercialised, but I would hardly call it Blackpool. We chose this holiday for the contrast between Jesolo and Venice - and yes there are quiet areas of Venice within a 5 minute walk of the ferry. There were queues for the main attractions, but that is to be expected in a world tourist centre, we never queued for more than ten minutes and bear in mind this was at the height of the holiday season. We had no problems with Italians, they were as friendly as any other nationality any where else in the world. I would definitely recommend this holiday, but probably not to those with children or mobility problems.

My husband and I had a delightful holiday at this hotel at the beginning of May 2005. We found the food, accommodation and staff excellent and have recommended the hotel to friends. I know that it was a quiet time of the year so cannot judge what happens in more hectic months, all I can say is that we had an excellent time as well as the other 2 couples we met there - we couldn't fault anything apart from the jacuzzi not being available at the beginning of the week - but it was the first week of the holiday season.

Sorry but I'm not agree with Mrs Wilkinson. Hotel Brioni is a four stars hotel and our chef are very skilled and able.

I wish to remember that our hotel menu have a choice of 5 first courses and 5 second corses with vegetables buffet and desserts. If you don't like something in our menu you can choice or ask for something of different. But remember we are in Italy and we have an "italian cuisine" with a lot of pasta and meat cooked in every way.

Eggs and stuffed... is only an alternative choice that we give to our guest but is not all our menu! Jesolo also is one of the most popular beach in Italy full of thingh to do and life (I think that there is a reason for that). May be is not a paceful town ( if you want a quiet town or city in Italy you have to go in Toscana) but you can find also a quiet places and beaches in Jesolo Pineta. Also hotel Brioni is allocated in a quiet area but near to the beach and the pedestrian area with shops and restaurants.

Jesolo lives of tourism and I can't believe that in all the places she and her husband has gone had found rude people maybe they went in wrong places. I suggest all to take a look in www.Jesolo.it to have an idea of what Jesolo is and maybe also www.menazzahotels.it where you can find our hotel to understand how Hotel Brioni is and how Jesolo and his beach loves their guests.

thank you for this apply

This Was Our 2nd Trip To Venice And By No Means We

This was our 2nd trip to Venice and by no means were we disappointed with our allocated Hotel Brioni Mare. We had been given an upgrade since the Hotel we were supposed to have been staying in was over booked. Compared to the Hotel Aquileia which we had stayed in last year this was pure luxury.

On arrival we were delighted with the small but very stylish pool area, the room was fantastic, loads of storage space, a fridge, a safe, air conditioning, TV. very posh bathroom with proper corner shower and a really long balcony.

I say proper shower because in Venice they usually have very basic showering facilities, i.e. the shower is usually in between the toilet and sink with a drain hole in the middle of the room and everything in the bathroom gets wet including loo rolls!

The dining room was fairly elaborate, but the best tables had definitely been given to the Germans, we got put round a corner but didn't mind because it was quieter and fairly romantic.

Food was excellent, I felt like I had been to a health farm as the portions were just right and every dish was delicious, my fianc however was left feeling hungry and disappointed with his selected choice of the menus.

The maids came every day but Sunday to clean and the bed linen was changed on every occasion, very nice, and the towels were changed twice a day! yes twice, on an evening they would come back round before you went for your evening meal to ask if you would like fresh towels and a new bathmat.

The only reservation I have about the Italians is that they can be quite rude, unless you are very loud and in their face, which they seem to prefer.

It is wrong that they don't give as good a service to the English just because Germans are renowned for tipping bigger, how will they ever know what you were to tip them, had they given you as good a treatment? you kind of feel like right I won't bother then... the Italians certainly do not tip, they have the attitude that they are getting paid in any case and it's their country so why bother.

I have read other people's reviews on Lido Di Jesolo and some have compared it to the likes of Blackpool, this is totally unfounded in the areas we have stayed, and we have been twice now. I can not imagine where they had stayed because Blackpool it certainly is not! It's a place where you can feel nice and relaxed with no worries and the surroundings are usually very clean and stylish.

Venice being just a short bus trip and a ferry away, Lido Di Jesolo is the perfect resort for romantic couples and families alike to enjoy the perfect beach holiday with fascinating days out to places such as Croatia. Venice by day or night is simply magical. It is relatively cheap to go Island hopping, Murano, for it's famous glass, Burrano for a truly unspoilt Island, get the ferry over to Venice one evening and soak up the truly romantic atmosphere, you won't be disappointed! There are usually 3 orchestras which take turn in what seems to be an amusing competition with one another; each one takes their turn to out do the last. The history and the architecture combined with the atmosphere is a totally unique experience, it is for everyone whether you are young or old, rich or poor.
