Hotel HSM Reina Isabel Mallorca

Having just got back from this hotel I felt I should write review. The hotel itself is fine, the rooms are quite spacious but the furniture is a bit dated, but at the end of the day, unless your staying in your room for the entire holiday all you need is somewhere to lay your head down at night. The beds were very comfortable with fresh ironed linen. The food was acceptable and there wasn't a day when there was nothing to eat, just a bit mixed up matching certain foods together to make a meal. Just be careful at night as they ask if you would like a drink of beer, wine or water then plonk a bill on your table afterwards ! The pool area had a good selection of sunbeds , table & chairs with the poolside bar open all day & evening. The pool had the sun on it around mid morning till late evening, not having swam in it my friend did say it wasn't cold. I asked for a high sea view room and that's what I got, room 631 to be precise. Had a lovely view of the sea and watched the planes landing and taking off, plus had gorgeous views of the sunsets. Now my only quibble is the noise ! it started around midnight until 6 am, there is a bus that takes the youngsters to Palma for the nightlife and drops them back off every half hour until 6am, so you can guess what we had to put up with, singing, shouting, playing music, it didn't even help much with the curtains drawn either. So overall, the hotel was lovely to stay at but the noise at night was unbearable, it was nice to come home and sleep ! Would I go back ? to the island yes, the hotel probably no due to the noise.
