After A 2 Hour-long Transfer From The Airport (tra

After a 2 hour-long transfer from the airport (travel agent's promise was 20 mins) we arrived at 1 a.m. to the hotel with 2 young children+ 4 adults. We were thirsty as hell as we did not spend time at the airport with buying drinks after the flight, wanted to be there as quick as possible. We were booked all inclusive and missed a whole day's meal so we tought asking for a bottle of water is not a big thing. We were wrong, the 0.24 EUR mineral water was offered to us for 2.10 EUR because the bar closes at 11 p.m. and this is the rule... And this kind of "minor" faults were there every day of our 9 nights stay. First afternoon I was asking for snack and was offered some horrible dry biscuits, nothing else. I asked the manager why does he thinks this fulfills the meaning of all inclusive, and he solely said this is only 2 star... I explained to him that a kilo of orange costs 049 EUR in the supermarket next to the hotel, why couln't he buy a couple for snack for the guests, it would look great and cost him nothing. He resisted and said we can have fruit at mealtimes. So I took his word and tried to bring 2 apples up from the restaurant that evening for the children for next day, and I was treated as a thief, I was taken to the manager, with whom I had serious argument about the subject. ABOUT 2 PIECES OF APPLES! The mineral water in the restaurant is served in open bottles, and they are refilled afterwards with God knows what. We took part of the label off one bottle and it returned to us almost every meal time. The drinks at the bar are only served in paper PEPSI cups unless you drink it right there, in front of the barman inside. That is not what you whish for on a summer holiday, and I hate drinking Martini from paper cup.Food is not worth to mention, everything is cooked in so much oil, and so much salt you couldn't believe. On the last 3-4 days my stomach had given it up, could not eat anything, was so weak, had to lay in bed. Staff spoke no English, could not understand cold or warm, beef or pork. It is not aloud to bring alcoholic drinks from the bar to the restaurant. Half of the balconies look onto a dirty and untidy courtyard. Lift only works if you are lucky. Last word about being 2 star: Last year we went to Cala Millor (Mallorca) to a 3 star hotel Don Jamie for less money than here 2 star. Food was excellent, great snack, lovely pool, sea is much closer. The only positive was at Pins the cleaning lady and his work, but that is not the thing you would first look at when chooosing a place to stay.

We Didn't Get To Stay At The Santa Ponsa Pins 'hot

We didn't get to stay at the Santa Ponsa Pins 'hotel'. The manager already had the police on the way to evict a family who had complained about the food twice in one day.

My wife and I decided we didn't need to stay there after being accused of acting Like 'English football hooligans' the night before. Trouble was we'd only just arrived!

Enough said.

When You Go To Book Your Holiday To The Sunshine R

When you go to book your holiday to the sunshine resort of Santa Ponsa, I recommend that you don't book a room at the hotel Santa Ponsa Pins. When you arrive you are greeted by miserable staff at reception, and directed to your room. The first thing that you will realise is that there is no air conditioning, and therefore the balcony door is going have to be left open all the time. The walls are very thin, and so you can hear everyones conversations. The pool is very deep 1.4 metres at the shallow end and 2.4 metres at the deep end, with a sharp drop. It is very cold because of this!

The specification half board, means that you can either have breakfast and lunch, or breakfast and dinner, but here you have no choice! Just breakfast and dinner. The food is not the best quality, and the water out of the machine is mirky. The only good point, is that the nice cleaners clean your room everyday, and change the bedding and towels.
