Puerto Del Carmen, Big Apple

went to lanzarote in aug for a week on a girls holiday was my 3rd time back there.We had a ball of a time the best pub by far was the big apple the staff we lovely and got loads of free drink cant wait to go back again.

ABSOLUTLY AMAZING!!!! I would recommend this to anyone lookin for good nights out with friends or family. The family bars are amazing, such a great atmosphere. During the day there is so much to do too. Peurto Del Carmen is full of shops and restaurants and are all so nice :D The beach is amazing too, there are different areas you can go to to get privacy if you want it, but watch out, the sun is sooo hot, make sure you have flip flops or something on your feet. I had flip flops on and literally had to throw the towel down every 2 seconds to stand on because I was burning my feet LOL

I went for a week with 3 friends. The weather was really good and we all came home with a really good tan. The 4 of us had a ball and didn't wanna go home! The best place to go to is the big apple, the staff are so friendly and the music is great! We are all gonna go back again and will definitely go back to the big apple! Miss u all, hey laura :) xxx

2003 Puerto Del Carmen was the first holiday with just me and my boyfriend and we hadn't been together long but we had a FANTASTIC time!!!

Puerto Del Carmen was a great choice because it was lively, had loads to do but was also great for both singles and families. Didnt see any "Lager Louts" just people having a great time. After two weeks of breakfast, lunch and dinner out we'd only sampled a very small percentage of the restaurants on offer. We had Mexican, Chinese, Indian and Italian while we were there. We rated each one and none of them were below 8/10.

My boyfriend was there for a tan while I'm not really into the sun and burn easily. The island had a constant breeze so it was perfect for me and my boyfriend came back with a mega tan!! I even came back off-white!!

We stayed in a friend's appartment but as we were over the road from some Thompson appartments we used their facilities. The reps had no problem with us using their pool everyday and going on their organised trips.

We found that the quality of the trips was excellent as although slightly dearer than locally organised trips the guides were English speaking.

We went to the volcanoes and rode on camels (alot of fun), visited a waterpark that had loads to do and went on a catamaran that included a brilliant lunch and a ride on a jetski.

Tne nightlife was great for couples and our favourites were the Big Apple (hiya Toby!!) and Bar Lanza next door that had an excellent DJ and a drinking quiz every night. He got everyone involved and everyone was laughing.

The people were so friendly, the food lovely and we've got loads and loads of memories.

Cant wait to go again!!
