La Manga del Mar Menor, Apartments Los Miradores Del Puerto

I can only reiterate my previous review of Cheryls lovely apartment.The only point i would like to revisit on my previous review is "Don't hire a bike from Hobby Bike",i got 4 miles up the strip and the crank arm fell off ;-) I needed the exercise anyway ;-0

I have stayed here at Los Miradores twice in the past 2 years..Having previously stayed in hotels(Gran Bali in Benidorm)i vowed never to repeat the awful experience staying in hotels ever again.The owner has an apartment on the 1st floor and one on the 6th floor(where we stay).The views are breathtaking..the apartment is spotless and has all the amenities to cater for all your needs.lots of lovely small uncrowded beaches to choose from..This area of Murcia down the coast is gorgeous..We visited Calblanque nature reserve both in the day to fish off the rocks which is only a couple of miles away and at night where we saw foxes,rabbits etc..well worth a trip..also Cartagena over the mou8ntains is a beautiful city with Roman ampitheatre and is the HQ of the Spanish navy..lots to see and do with lots of museums..we tend to go to Mar Menor in April when it is tranquil and less crowded..hire a bike from the bicycle shop Hobby Bike at km5..the chap and his wife are ever so friendly..we will be returning in April 2015
