York, Best Western Dean Court Hotel

I took my wife to York, probably our favouritre city, to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We stayed at the hotel after our wedding in York and and had our reception there, seventeen years ago.

When booking our room at Dean Court I mentioned our wedding and reception and was delighted, on arrival,to find we had been upgraded to a suite,without extra charge. The view of the Minster from our room was almost identical to that which we saw on our honeymoon.

This is typical of the kindness and care one can find at the Dean Court. The hotel has a feeling of quiet luxury and the service by the staff cannot be faulted. We were particularly impressed by the reception-desk staff. Their welcoming, efficient service was first class. The hall porter took our luggage to our suite and then took my car to the hotel's secure car park. There is a charge for car parking but I thought it well worth it for the peace-of-mind it gives.

I would recommend the Dean Court wholeheartedly.
