Ibis Aberdeen Centre Hotel

I booked this hotel after looking for a cheap night away with my partner and at £34 per night it was very reasonable and we got the buffet breakfast included for only £10 rather than £14!

It is ideally located and has a NCP car park that was £15 for 24 hours, the only downside i would say is if you were staying for a long period of time there is no discounts offered by the hotel.

When we checked in the receptionist was really helpful and although we had a slight problem with our room key being activated we were checked in very quickly.

The room was nice and modernly decorated and was clean and tidy and the bathroom was spotless. We had a problem trying to get the air conditioning working which we mentioned when we checked out and it would have been helpful if there had been instructions in the room information package.

We had a tv with all the freeview channels which was free to use, there were also movies which were available for a price but we didnt use but the selection was quite good and recent.

We had the window open at night when trying to sleep and it was a bit noisy but our room was at the front of the hotel next to a nightclub and it was a Saturday night so that is only to be expected.

Our buffet breakfast the next morning was excellent! The range on offer was great from cereals, toast, and fried bacon etc. with tea and coffee facilities available. We were full for hours after and it was nice to just pop downstairs rather than try to find a local cafe which would have cost much more.

We are heading back later this month for a longer stay and looking at the website they are constantly offering deals so i would definitely recommend.
