I booked this hotel for my son an his fiance for a surprise as I knew that they were planning a sightseeing day into Glasgow as this was his fiance's first visit to Scotland from America.

They are quite a shy couple and did not like to complain or offend the desk clerk who they said they could not understand.

They dumped their bags and went out returning to head out to a concert. Bedside table was sticky, toilet smelled of stale urine with the toilet brush sitting in a pool of it. Shower was full of hair. They thought they would maybe make the most of it and deal with it as it was only one night and went out to a concert. Arrived back and pulled back the covers to find that they were stained. Last Straw and they left immediately. Called me to say they were on their way back home in a taxi. I called the hotel and was met with complete disdain and rudeness.

Avoid at all costs.
