Horrendous
Well it's hard to know where to start.
We booked for our 2 weeks holiday to liki tiki and went in July 2015, obviously very excited after saving for 2 years, and our children were bursting at the seams to get to FLORIDA.
When at liki tiki our intial thoughts were, 'this is nice', and that kept the excitement high.
Anyway it soon transpired to us that if your not interested in their time shares then they are not particular interested in you, to the point of being quite rude.
On a couple occasions when my husband was walking through the reception area to go to their shops they were abrupt towards him because they had a meeting regarding time shares and didn't like the fact that he came through in his swimming attire (be it not wet attire and on holiday at a resort might I add) he found the rudest extremely annoying.
Anyway our 3 year old daughter had her 3rd birthday two days after arriving in like tiki resort and we had brought her birthday cards from our families back in the UK with us.
She had £40 GBP from these birthday cards and we put this away in a blue travel wallet in my husbands airport satchel in our main bedroom, to take home for her money box as we had no reason for her to use it in Florida.
On the last day whilst we was packing up we found that this money was gone. Along with the spare key card from our room that we had left on the kitchen side from day one.
Obviously we felt this was horrendous and complained straight away to the reception and security who filed our complaint.
On returning to the UK we wrote a letter of complain to the diamond resort head office in Las Vegas as advised my Liki tiki security who was told this was what we was to do my the manager (who never came to see us personally).
Well, the letter we received in response to this and another subject on our daughter slipping on the lagoon stairs (a event that as now caused her front tooth nerve to die and is now black) was absolutely disgraceful. It was rude, abrupt and offered no apologise or sympathised with our daughter in any way - she's 3 years old. It wasn't even signed of with a name, not personalised in any way.
The sad thing is, we said from the start that £40 isn't a great amount of money, it was the principal that it was takenfrom us and they should be addressing his fact.. This is something that they clearly won't or haven't addressed and this was the point we was getting at.
Unfortunately these fat cat blood sucking money grabbing companies don't give a monkey about us and this clearly shows because they have already had our money and don't care what we have lost.
I reckon if we had bought a time share the answer would of been completely different. Such a shame that these big companies really don't give a second thought to the people that line their pockets in the first place.
Would I go back - HELL NO
Would I stay at any Of there other resorts - HELL NO
Would I recommend any one else to stay there - HELL NO!!!
