Las Vegas, South Point Hotel Casino and Spa

We visited in April 2008 and had nothing but good service. We were on the 10th floor and didn't hear any of the noise of the construction work. There was no dust or noise that we ever heard during our 4 day stay. In fact we slept in on 3 mornings until 9.30 am! I am a very light sleeper. The service was excellent as was the food in all the restaurants in which we ate.

Overall a very pleasant experience with no complaints. Life's too short to complain in any event - we always make the best of what we have, although it was easy to enjoy this holiday.

Don't stay here until late 2008 unless you want to be woken at 530am. They're adding 800 rooms and start very early! Management didn't seem to care too much either. There was no warning or even a mention about construction. Instead of sleep in like I expected, I was disturbed by machine noises, backup beepers, motors running and many other noises that made sleep impossible. I brought this to the attention of the front desk manager, but was told they had no idea what the construction schedule was, which made me even angrier!
