Christchurch, Bougainvillea Beach Resort

As the last reviewer said.... the only thing bad about this hotel was coming home. The pool was empty pretty much everyday for 2 weeks which was great.

The room, the grounds, the beach............ fabulous.

BUT.......... the restraunt could do with some doing up and a bit of life and time spent creating a better menu.

Cant wait to go back

Bougainvillea Beach Resort was amazing, perfect, everything you could ask for.

Christ Church Bougainvillea Beach Resort used to be a beautiful resort to which I have spent many holidays and business trips, yet, the past three months have seen a down slide in personal attention - something that it used to prize itself on. The pool bar that was once peaceful and relaxing is now over run with young kids splashing and being a general nuisance. The restaurant is now over crowded and suffers with poor service due to lack of staff. The rooms are now shabby as are the main grounds, they used to be stunning and almost perfect but recent poor management has sent this deteriorate very quickly. I stayed there in Jan and Feb. for three weeks and had no problem but this past visit in March was like going to a completely different resort!
