Not Worth The Money!

Just came back from a 7 night stay at the Coral Towers Hotel in Atlantis. So NOT worth the money!! Our room was filthy, dust an inch thick on furniture, stuff left under bed from who knows how long ago, awful smell coming from I think the rug, had to hold the toilet handle down forever to get it to flush. My Daughter & husbands room was just as bad or worse! I don't think they ever vacuum, saw them with a broom which doesn't do much on a carpet. So needless to say very disappointed with hotel quality. Now food...so very expensive you feel they are ripping you off everytime you eat...thank god for Starbucks, plan on spending at least $200 or more a day for 2 to eat. The grounds are nice and maintained but everything outside closes at 6pm even the pools...disappointing! Beach nice but your pestered constantly to buy a jet ski, jewelry, massage and my daughter was even approached for joints/cocaine believe it or not! Could of gone on 3 cruises for the price I paid here. Will never go back!!

I Was Amazed To Read So Many Negative Reviews. We

I was amazed to read so many negative reviews. We have been to Atlantis 4 times. Yes, it is exhorbitently expensive but you can figure that out up front - it is not a surprise. It is incredibly beautiful and the grounds are very well maintained. In our 4 trips we found the staff very pleasant and accommodating. Yes, it can get very crowded. Try to avoid weekends and its a wonderful place to be. Some of the restaurants should be avoided, e.g. ChopStix is dreadful but the majority are very good as is the service. We certainly wouldn't have gone 4 times if it wasn't a wonderful place.

Insanily Expensive. I Earn Enough To Afford This $

Insanily Expensive. I earn enough to afford this $400/day per person .. but I don't like to ripped off. They have invested heaviy in this huge property. Every sq feet is beautifully done .. great theme. But then, they could have created activities and provided variety. I hate eating $100 per dinner and $75 for lunch and minimu $30 for breakfast. I hated that the few activities that did exist were $150 or upward. Deep Sea dolphin cay is a joke. $15 just to watch from a distance. Good water sports and rapids. Good service, friendly people. But overall, i could have had much more fun, much more activities, and much better food elsewhere in half the cost. This place is suitable only for super rich elite who want a cost barrier to filter out the crowd they walk with on the resort.

Well They Tred To Rip Me Off Telling Me That I Did

Well they tred to rip me off telling me that i did not pay 3 nights when the hotel was payed full by credit card before i even came to the resort. They tried to get me for extra cash so i had a reciept proving that the room was fully payed for so now my credit card has almost went over the limit and now i cant do any xmas shopping until the money gets transfered ack to me 2 days before xmas. The room service was brutal, they never closed the door right and left it a bit open meanwhile i had my 500 dollar cam corder charging in the bathroom. My enternet did not work half the time. The tv had a bad recemption and they charged me for stuff from the fridge i did not even use.The people that went to the night club in the casino on the top floor on the weekend were a bunch of snobs and the bartender kept on avoiding me after i left a nice tip.The food was horrible and the places that were of somewhat descent was way to over priced.Black guys near the jet skiis were trying to sell me cocaine and pot and i felt uncomfortable.I will never go to atlantis resort again, actually i will never go to bahamas never again because of the rude servers at the restaurants in naussa.

Paradise Island, Atlantis Resort & Casino Is In A

Paradise Island, Atlantis Resort & Casino is in a beautiful location on the island.

My stay was FREE for a week (corporate retreat), and I still hated the resort!

I thought the staff seemd slow. Any time I asked a simple question from customer service, they would stare blankly, shrug, and then (slowly) go get a brochure for you to read, in order to answer the question.

The Atlantis Resort Is The Best Place You Can Go F

The Atlantis Resort is the best place you can go for a family vacation. Lets start off with what you will visit the most: aquaventure. The slides were fantastic! There weren't many of them but trust me they're great. The variety is awesome too! Weather you're a daredevil and scaredy cat or somewhere in between there's something special for you! The pools are amazing too, and the beaches are beyond compare. The water is warm at the beach and the sand is too. If it rains it's only for about an our than it stops, the sun comes out and it's as if nothing happened. If you're looking for something to do while you're waiting for the rain to end, there are many things to do inside the resort such as a nightclub for both your kids and you!

I Can't Believe That There Are Any Good Reviews On

I can't believe that there are any good reviews on this page! This was the worst resort I've ever been to. The customer service was horrid, the food was worse. It was so crowded you couldn't move. If you didn't get to the pools or beach by 8 a.m. forget about getting a chair to sit in. I saw more fights between people over saving chairs! I am so glad to be home.

You sure you were at the right resort? The food is AWSOME but expensive. Ive been ther 6 times in 3 years and all 6 times were a pleasure. I never had to fight for a chair at the water park or arounfd the pools, we met a great waiter that we seek out every time we go. The rooms are nice and everyone is helpful. One time we had a palm tree blocking our view, we asked for anoher room at Royal Towers and we were upgraded to a ocean view, high floor for no extra cost. I think your exierence was rare or your just a hard person to please

This Resort Is Expensive And After A While, You Ge

This resort is expensive and after a while, you get angry spending your money to be treated badly. I was on a conference, spending my corporations money and I was still appalled.

The hotel is badly in need of repairs. There were numerous leaks, the A/C in the main lobby went out and they resorted to placing huge tornado fans all throughout the common areas. A mouldy smell was frequently present in certain areas. Our room had been recently painted. The smell was still present and the door would stick or fail to close completely.

On our departure, we went to the checkout desk, and paid cash of £280.00 to clear our final bill. When we got home, we found this amount had also been charged to our credit card. We tried (at length and in vain) to get this money back but were unable to claim it back despite the brilliant efforts of our credit card company. This left a very bad taste in the mouth and put a damper on our holiday.

Atlantis - Truly A Lost City. I Just Returned Home

Atlantis - Truly a Lost City. I just returned home from vacationing at Atlantis Paradise Island. This billion dollar resort has fallen down in a number of areas over the past 3 years. Pools were not cleaned properly and at times some were so cold you could not swim in them. Numerous slides for pools were permanently closed. This is not how the brochures presents the resort or the web site for that matter. Towels were very tired and old looking and lounge chairs were filthy as well as numerous were broken. Service at this resort is so poor one should really question staying at this resort. I would like to say that I have been to Atlantis several times in the past and have revisited this resort as it has one of the nicest beaches and is certainly an upgrade from many of the hotels on Nassau. The unfortunate fact is that the resort has fallen each year further and further into a decline. Bathrooms with broken door hinges, broken outer doors and numerous items in the hotel room not working properly. It is evident that upgrades were taken in our room with a new bathroom counter vanity, yet the room lacked care and appeared very tired. The overall service to guests is depolorable. The staff for the most part is rude, disinterested in assisting with the simplist of requests. There is much to do to improve this problem. Complaints from guests are resoundingly heard. I overheard a conversation in the elevator where a guest was stating that she reallly needs to not return to Atlantis as she could no longer stand the service. I fully agree. When you pay a premium for service quality you expect that. There is no question that whom ever is in charge of the service ability of guests has failed to achieve a standard that is to be considered acceptable. The cost of food is very expensive and at times seems to be ridiculous. One can feel extremely taken advantage of and then to boot you deal with the miserable attitudes of the staff that are barely willing to seat you. This is not to say that my experience of every staff member was horrible, but the vast majority of staff encountered seemed pretty miserable. The concept of this resort is pretty impressive and the vision of Sol Kerzner is extrordinary, however I know he must have never envisioned what's happening to Atlantis now. As a guest that has been to this resort a total of 5 times, I am convinced this will be my last time. Each year I have returned as I loved the beach mainly and enjoyed the food quality and the ease of getting from my home to this destination, but I have reconsidered where I want to spend my hard earned money. I want to have an experience that is truly memorable in a positive manner, not a negative one. I have choices as you do. I don't think it's unreasonable to expect that you are treated as a welcomed guest instead of an imposition to the staff. I would say in closing, I would definitely recommend Paradise Island and would highly recommend that you visit Atlantis to see the overall accomplishment Mr. Kerzner has made but strongly consider staying elsewhere. This resort does not deliver the service quality that is commensurate with the cost.
