We purchased a hard shell suitcase. We used it once. During that use, the wheel fell off. When we opened the case and looked behind the lining, we could see the nut in the case, meaning that the nut had simply wound itself off the wheel. Not a huge deal, problems happen during assembly, I'm sure their warranty covers this and Customer Support will help us out, or so I thought.

After submitting pictures of a used-once, totally undamaged case, their customer support told us that the wheel was lost due to "improper use" which is not covered in the warranty and that the case had damage on it. Again, this case was used once and had zero damage in any picture.

Nonetheless, we had to pay for the part and the shipping.

I will never buy from this company again and tell everyone who'll listen not to buy from them.

A few years ago I bought 2 "indestructible" suitcases, paid a lot of money for it and I was assured that they were under guarantee for 10 years, like the warranty say they are.

Unfortunately last year I tried to contact them with zero assistance due to covid.

So I have tried again last week and I finally had a reply telling me that the unbreakable suitcases that broke, will not be covered by the warranty and I have therefore pay for the repairs!

The small suitcase that broke a few years back was repaired with no problems and now, even if the same thing broke again, this time it is not covered!

The same suitcases they have now only 5 years warranty because they knew they wouldn't last for 10 years! Do not and I mean it, do not ever buy any of their products.

We were buying Rocanto baggage for years, always being sure that it's a serious company that stands behind its product. Everything was fine till month ago. First time issue with brand new suitcase we bought in Malaysia. And unfortunately, we found out that Rocanto doesn't give a damn about their customers, product and whatsoever. We tried to reach them via email, hotline, all the possible means. Asking for help fixing the suitcase (if not by warranty, then paid). AND BEEN ABSOLUTELY IGNORED. ROCANTO DOES NOT EXIST FOR CUSTOMERS. END OF STORY.

We will stop buying Rocanto products from now on and will never recommend to anyone after the experience like that. There are lots of other producers which a cheaper with same quality!

I got a 4 wheel Roncato soft zipped suitcase 3 years ago. It hasn't been used that much, most of the time it's stored away at home. The quality apeared very good and sturdy, good capacity and light.

But this week one of the front two wheels started dragging. Something had got caught in the wheel swivel mechanism, preventing it turning in the direction of travel. Despite repeated attempts at trying to clean the wheel I couldn't get it to swivel properly. This caused drag, making it hard to pull along, stood on all four wheels the suitcase kept veering off and finally, after a week of use, the wheel has worn down to a stump.

This is quite a new suitcase, not used that much, it wasn't that cheap so I am annoyed it didn't last and now, during a trip, it's let me down.

The 10 year warranty is useless, Roncato simply don't have a service infrastructure in place, it would cost me more i postage and spare parts than throw it away and buy a new suitcase.

Avoid Roncato, and avoid 4 wheel trolley suitcases, the two wheel trolleys have larger and stronger wheels.

Unfortunately the only way to contact them in case the suitcase breaks is via email.

I have been emailing the responsible person from Roncato in Italy but after almost 2 months, my suitcase is still broken, she gave me the name of the repairing shops only to find out they do not do repairs or even sell Roncato! In shock...

I'm therefore assuming I'll have to buy a new one after less than 3 years...

They gave me a warranty of 10 years... Now it makes sense... They guarantee it because they will never repair it

I am Italian but surely I'll never buy from them again...
