Just Played All 3 Courses This Week. Players Shoul

Just played all 3 courses this week. Players should seriously consider using a golf cart for these courses as they are set into hills. Carts are usually free before 10am but you would need to book a tee off time in advance to secure one. All three courses in great condition, take plenty of golf balls as the scrub areas are virtually "no go" . Greens were holding long irons well. Spectacular views. 19th hole serves San Miguel with food and snacks at reasonable prices. The only downside was the attitude of the staff in the Pro shop and the course Marshall. They are arrogant, rude and and unpleasant. This should not put you off if you were thinking of going there though. Everyone in our group would not hesitate to go back.

We Played Two Courses The American Course And The

We played two courses The American course and The European Course,I know the weather in Spain has been unusually wet this winter but the American course was a complete swamp in places, which they completely neglected to inform us about . In fact we lost more balls on the fairway then we did anywhere else.

We also had the European Course booked and we played this the following day.Have to say this is a truly spetular course beautiful fairways greens and scenery.

Did not play the Asian course .

I Played The America Course Yesterday And Was Very

I played the America course yesterday and was very disappointed in the course. There are large areas of scrubland that I don't think Bill Oddie would enter. They are sometimes staked and sometimes not and I have no idea what the logic is. Also the greens are elevated and rock hard so you can't run them on but they will also not hold anything but a wedge. It also looked quite scruffy and the staff seem to think they work at Valderama.

Played Europa Course Again This Year (see My Other

Played Europa course again this year (see my other reviews). This is my favourite course. It's tough yet so good. It's in fantastic shape (29th September 2006). I would recommend this and the other 2 courses to any golfer, and I know you would not be disappointed.

Only one slight draw back. La Cala Golf Course in the Costa Del Sol have both electric and petrol buggies, but only the petrol buggies can be used on the Europa course. This is because it is so hilly (don't ever try and walk it). These are in short supply, so we were a bit late teeing off (20 minutes). Other than that, get out there and enjoy golf like you see it on the telly with the sun on your back. There is nothing better!

Spectacular Complex Set In The Hills Yet Just A Fe

Spectacular complex set in the hills yet just a few miles from the coast. You could spend a week here and never want to leave. The courses demand accuracy and correct club selection. I have never before seen bridges on a course like on Campo Europa. Will definitely be back.

Agree with everything in this review. The bridges on the 4th hole at La Cala golf course on the Costa Del Sol are magnificent.

We Have Now Played All Three Golf Courses At La Ca

We have now played ALL three golf courses at La Cala. We played the North and South courses in 2004, which were magnificent. The 3rd course "Europa" was under construction at the time, so we decided to play this course this year. We played at the end of September. WHAT A COURSE!! This is probably one of the best courses we have played in Spain, and we have played a few now over the last 8 years. It's not a course for the faint hearted. This is a "thinking" golfers course. If you are going to the Costa Del Sol for a golf holiday, DEFINITELY put this course on you agenda.

Couldn't agree with Uncle Silas more. Not only does La Cala offer some of the best golf on the costa but they have kept their prices sensible.
