Lofer, Haus Patricia

Have been enjoying holidays with the advisers for several years and have no intention of going anywhere else. This is our home from home, our comfort zone.In our opinion.we have the best room in the house, with views of the majestic Alps from 2 balconies on different sides. All the rooms are well appointed with exceptionally comfy beds and adequate furniture. The bathroom is well lit and has a power shower, wash hand basin and wc. Towels are changed daily. The breakfasts are superb with a huge choice of food to suit everyone's taste. Haus Patricia is on the outskirts of the village but every facility is within reach and nowhere is more than 5 mins walk away. There is ample parking and for non-drivers, the bus stops are just across the road by the Tourist Information Office. You can catch a bus to all the lovely towns and villages surrounding lovely Lofer. Although Haus Patricia only do Bed and Breakfast, there are several excellent restaurants in the village and meals can be as expensive or as reasonable in price as required. The local people are very friendly and welcoming, none more so than than the Bradleys !! Whether you choose an apartment or a B & B, Summer or Winter, you could not find a more genuine welcome. AND we have already booked for next year.

House Patricia is beautifully and conveniently located in Lofer. Good value for money and lots of opportunities for all sorts of trips. Very clean and well-equipped. But what makes the stay special are the hosts - they are always prepared to do that little bit extra to make your holiday a more enjoyable one. Nothing seems to be a problem with them. Very helpful and friendly. Amanda's lively spirit is really irresistible! The hotel is definitely worth recommending!

We had visited Haus Patricia in June 2011 & had our lives best time there....We (my husband & daughter) were visiting Lofer for the first time & did not know if we had taken a right decision to go to an unknown place & drive down thorough out.....but at the end of the trip we were glad that we took this decision since we enjoyed to the core & also extended out trip by 3 days.

Excellent service/clean rooms/beautiful ambience & moreover lovely hosts.

Not only did they help us out with the details of where to go & what to do but also accompanied along to some sites which were nearby & ensured we had a good time.

We stayed a Haus Patricia for one week in January 2013, and we booked the 2-bedroom flat for 4 adults and 2 toddlers. The flat was great, very clean and equipped with everything we needed. The tv had sky tv on it, and there was a dvd player and a selection of dvds for the kids and movies for us. There was everything we needed in the kitchen, and plenty of bed linen and so on. My favourite bit was the fireplace, we had log fires every night, and what with the snow outside, it was just amazing! Amanda and Richard were very good hosts, took really good care of us and provided everything else we needed and the flat didn't already have, such as a high chair for the little one. We used to cook most of our meals, there is a Spar supermarket close by. We spent some evenings in the "fun" room of the villa, where there was a pool table, darts, hot and cold drinks and some toys for the kids and board games for the adults. We skiied for a few days, the slopes are within walking distance and for our level of intermediate skiers, the slopes were just the right level of difficulty. We spent one day in Salzburg and another two afternoons in a spa at about 20km called Rupertus Therma, which was fantastic. We really had a great holiday and it's just the distance from the UK (we drove) that makes me not book another one right now!

During our summer vacation in Austria (couple + 2kids) we stay in Patricia House.

It was a very enjoyable stay and we will be glad to come back.

Amanda and Richard are very welcoming and kind hosts.

The apartment was very clean and comfortable including nice kitchen, refrigerator and dish washer.

It was a pleasure to get a reach breakfast buffet every morning.

I will strongly recommend staying in Patricia House for everyone who is traveling to this area

What can we say about Haus Patricia than its the best holiday place to stay. They are fantastic in making our holiday so enjoyable. Nothing is too much for them and their kindness to us excels beyond hospitality anywhere else.

The apartment was so pleasant and comfortable and pretty views both back and front. We have spent a week in paradise and we will be back. Thank you Amanda and Richard for everything you did for us. We missed seeing Amanda as she went on holiday a few days after we came.

just returned from our first skiing holiday to austria made all the better by the lovely apartment which was cosy comfortable and had every thing you needed for a self catering holiday. hosts amanda and richard are great welcoming people who will go out of there way to arrange and accommodate your every needs and if you have any problems nothing is to much trouble. the village of lofer is beutiful relaxing and the skiing is great as we were beginners definately return in near future glad we went great place lovely people...

We have just spent 10 days at Haus Patricia, Accomodation was excellent the view from our room fantastic the cleanliness was spotless the continental breakfast was plentiful,it is really great value for money but most of all Amanda and Richard were very welcoming nothing was too much trouble they even sorted out the transfers from the airport Richard came to collect us himself which was a great load of out minds and they were both full of great idea's of where to go and what to do depending on the weather I have recently spent a week at the Savoy Hotel in Jersey and the service and quality wasn't a patch on Haus Patricia, While we were there we had a bit of an emergency an one of us became ill and had to go to the doctors then the hospital which was very daunting in a strange country but both Amanda and Richard dealt with this very professionally and put our minds at rest Richard even took us to the hospital which was 24km away and waited to see what the outcome was Ron had to stay in overnight and Richard took me back to the B & B we will always be grateful we would highly recommend Haus Patricia to our family and friends as for the village of Lofer it was very pictureques and all the locals were very friendly and helpful most people spoke English just a few doors down from Haus Patricia is a Bistro the food was excellent can't tell you how many meals we had there lost count there was plenty of other places to eat but we preferred the Bistro Karen & Ron from Manchester would like to say a big thank you to the people of Lofer especially Amanda and Richard for making our holiday a success!

We found Haus Patricia, Lofer, via the internet earlier this year and can vouch that all the information given on their website is correct. Transfer from Salzburg Airport by Richard was very efficient. Views from balcony second to none! The weather for our stay was mixed (rain and sun) but we were busy everyday. We only stayed for a week and hope to return for longer next time. Amanda and Richard are great hosts. Breakfast was brilliant, and tea, coffee etc were avaiable at any time during the day. Drying room useful especially as we had two very wet days! Good stock of DVDs for the evening. Local restaurants excellent (even for my dietary need for wheat-free.)
