Tignes (Val Claret) UCPA

Fab(unless you're a vegatarian). Accommodation is basic and the ski store was a bit of a mare but everything else makes up for it. Second trip with UCPA and these guys want you to have a good time, the staff are always onhand, the tutors are geared up for you to have fun whilst learning, and the whole environment makes it o so easy. Exceptionally good for lone skiers because you'll always meet people to socialise with on and off piste. And it is impossible to die of starvation with ucpa - unless you're a veggie - sorry guys but its France!

Tignes is a great resort, especially this late in the skiing season, because it is high up in the Alps. It's not the prettiest, but then it's not the most expensive either! The UCPA accommodation does what it says on the tin - basic shared accommodation.
