Dreadful Experience And Poor Customer Service

Booked one night at the Novotel Est in Paris with my daughter through Amoma. We arrived at the Novotel to discover that the hotel had no record of our reservation, and after waiting for 2 hours while the hotel tried to contact Amoma to resolve the issue (without success) we were forced to find and pay for another hotel in the city. The experience completely ruined our trip.

4 weeks on, I am still waiting for reimbursement for the extra hotel room I had to pay for. Found their responses to my emails very vague and unsatisfactory,

Will never entertain the idea of ever using this organisation again.

Disgusting

The most disgusting, appalling service I have ever encountered. Booked and paid for a hotel, in full, in October. Upon check in on Saturday I was i formed the hotel had rejected my booking and I had no reservation which was news to me because according to amoma I have a reservation confirmation. Tried calling amoma, they said they would look into and call back. Cue four hours later, one phone call promising to book us into another hotel and it became apparent we had been well and truely shafted. They did not fall back, they did not get me another hotel. They left four girls stranded in Birmingham on one of the busiest weekends of the year. We had to find another hotel, at three times the price and book it ourselves, leaving us considerably out of pocket. The amount of distress and inconvenience caused to us by amoma was and still is, enormous. All they keep saying to me now is that they are looking into it and it may take 30 days to resolve. What!! 30 days for you to keep my money for services never received. Never ever book hotels though amoma, the struggle I am having now to get my money back is unreal and extremely stressful. They are disgusting and appalling and should not be allowed to trade.

One of their replies trying to blame a supplier when I booked the hotel through amoma, they are who I had the contract with and they are liable but are refusing to refund me.

We kindly inform you that we have already opened an investigation and sent all the details to our supplier askink for the refund. They will contact the hotel in order to verify the situation and as soon as we receive their answer we will contact you by email or phone. We kindly ask you to bear with us as this situation does not depend on Amoma and we are not able to process the refund immediately.

Do Not Use This Company...

We booked via Trivago and were linked to Amona. However, when we booked the confirmation came from a company called Hotel Quickly.

Despite paying up front when we arrived at the hotel we were told the room had been cancelled by the agent.

The hotel then informed us that the agency had not been paid and so had cancelled all bookings for them.

We were left totally stranded in London with no where to get changed or stay.

Credit Card Charges???

Just booked with Amoma and am disgusted that they have charged for using a credit card which was banned!

There is no UK phone number and no customer service email so no way of getting hold of them.

Wont be using them again.

Do Not Use This Company!

Do not use this company! Appalling service received leaving me out of pocket. Booked seafront hotel through them as a gift for daughter - on check in the hotel had not received any booking (Amoma’s excuse was their Registrations Team was ill!) and hotel was fully booked. 4 hours of phone calls later they offered an alternative hotel 35 miles away - completely unacceptable. They then promised that if we found an alternative seafront hotel they would pay the difference, which we did after another 2 hours of searching. They have NOT honoured this and I am left with the bill for a room £178 more than my original booking, which they promised to pay for but which is now not forthcoming. Would never use this company again and would recommend no one else does.

Stay Away From This Company!

Do not use Trivago.com or Amoma.com to reserve your hotel rooms! We reserved a suite with a king bed on the Trivago website over 2 months ago and paid our reservation in full. One month before we are set to leave we get an email stating that due to an overbooking situation our reservations were changed to a standard room with 2 queen beds. The email said that we will be reimbursed $58.00 for the change. That has not happened yet. So not happy. Will never use Trivago or Amoma again. Do yourself a favor and book direct with the hotels you are wanting to stay in.

Reserved - Paid > Reservation Lost - Payment Gone

I reserved a room with confirmation from Amoma.com. AFTER paying via direct bank transfer the reservation was doomed lost. Their customer service number rendered unreachable - tried 12 times with average duration waiting time of 15 minutes. Foggy business. Money lost??

They Dont Care If You Went Through A Hurricane

Booked a hotel at Playa del Carmen but we live in Houston and this was during Hurricane Harvey and could not get flights out or even drive to the airport. We called and cancelled and sent all information about flight cancellations. It has been 1 moth and still cannot get refund and we keep getting the run around after hours of being put on hold

Bad customer service and they don't care about your situations, even it if means surviving the worst disaster in US history

Bad Communication With The Agency

I use the hotel search page and it's really great, simple and I'm very happy but if you canceled the hotel with your mistake then you can forget about contacting the agency. I tried e-mail not gone, you wait 30 minutes for the phone and the agent is always busy. I had to book another hotel. I'm sorry that this part is badly rendered otherwise it's really a great site. thank you
