We have just come back from a month long trip. Toronto-Hawaii-Washington, all organised brilliantly by the Bon voyage guys. Nine flights seven hotels and four car hires and eleven organised trips were all like clockwork. We visited four islands and found that they were all quite different. Despite being the place everybody thinks about as Hawaii, Honolulu was a bit like Las Vegas with a beach. Nice, but very busy and a shoppers paradise. The rest of the island was beautiful, with lovely quiet beaches. The north shore with its great surfing beaches was very impressive and sunsets were magic.

We also visited Maui, Kaui, and big island. Each was quite different, seeing one island does not mean you have saw the whole of Hawaii. Sunsets on Haleakala, sunrise on Mona Loma, sunrises on Mona Kea, sunset cruise on Na Pali Coast, going to the Old Lahaina Luau on Maui were all terrific excursions organised by Bon Voyage, but so also was the Road to Hana and visiting the Volcano National Park on Big Island.

I would certainly recommend car hire. Getting about the islands is so easy, everybody drives slowly and are very courteous. Parking at all the beaches is easy and free and it gives the flexibility to just stop when you see nice beaches.

All told we had a great holiday.

Just returned from a fantastic holiday put together by Bon Voyage staying at the Waldorf Astoria in New York. Wow never thought I would get to stay there. Then flew to the mid-west to drive to Denver. Stayed in lovely Colorado Springs. Picked up the California Zephyr in Denver and stayed on to San Francisco where again a fab hotel had been arranged. Bon Voyage could not have been more helpful and patient in refining the details of each leg of the holiday. The pre holiday info pack including the notebook was brilliant and I enjoyed using it as a daily diary to note what we had done and where we had been. I have and will continue to recommend them to friends and family. Thank you Bon Voyage for some amazing memories.

Travelling in September 2013 Bon Voyage arranged our authentic roadtrip through the American deep south, visiting Memphis, Nashville, Gatlinburg, Chattanooga and then onto our last stop in Atlanta. The advisor arranged the whole trip (flights, accomodation and car - obviously it had to be American - and what better than a Lincoln!). Her local knowledge was excellent, and meant that we were able to stay in some off the beaten track finds that made the trip truly memorable. We had a couple of minor snags on route - and this is how to judge a good travel firm - how they react and handle these issues that come left field (issues will always happen - great agents manage them effeciently for their customers). She was excellent - she managed them seemlessly to ensure they didn't impact our trip, and I was delighted with how responsive she was 24/7. We had a brilliant trip - you can't beat a night out in Nashville or a morning horse ride through the smokie mountains.....

I'd defintely recommend Bon Voyage and I look forward to travelling with them again for another US adventure - anyone for Texas?

I would just love to say that I've dealt with them on a Route 66 holiday planned for next year. Due to unforeseen circumstances I had to cancel. But I would just like to say that I've never dealt with a travel consultant so enthusiastic on helping me on a dream holiday. I foundher customer service outstanding and such a pleasure to deal with. I will be coming back to book the holiday once my situation has blown over and would love to deal with her again.

Dear All

I am writing to warn other people NOT to use this travel agency. They are unprofessional, unethical and worst of all dishonest. Even the managing director.

We were quoted for a special holiday to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We were in constant email contact with the travel agent asking questions and planning our holiday. A week later we got a very short emailing telling us they had quoted us incorrectly and our dream holiday was £1700 more than they quoted us!

This is no small amount and Bon Voyage did not seem to care and would not honour the rate they initially quoted us. Without going into all the details, we were then lied to (we have proof) and no offer of compensation was made. We ended up losing our holiday. Avoid them.
