Description Of Holiday Completly Inaccurate

Booked a 5* holiday in Carribean with them. office staff all very helpful. Sadly the description of the hotel was totally inaccurate, it had changed overnight from a 3* hotel to a 5*..... DECEIPT. It was still a 3* hotel. Advised it was a brand new hotel when it was a 25 year old hotel.

When complained as many other had done no responses. Taking them to court ffor a full refund

Use The Holiday Place At Your Own Risk -- Absolute Rubbish

Used this company for the first and definitely last time, the only thing that resembled their promise were the Virgin flights.

Upgraded the first of 2 hotels as per their recommendation, dirty, damp, broken and partly working toilet in room (had to change rooms, was so bad) with the seat split right across (how`s that for hygiene?), a long hot trek from where the shuttle bus leaves you, wrong information about where to meet for tours, staff that lie about quality of upgrades and more, lots more.

2nd hotel was unfortunately affected by `Irma` but thats no excuse for on site multiple restaurants that stayed shut (even before and after the Hurricane) food poisoning (suspected) by myself, partner and the folks in the next room too.

This firm considers itself holier than thou. Following extended and difficult communication they sent me £100.00 thinking that`ll do, well The Holiday Place, it definitely wont do, I`ve only just begun, look out for a substantial report and more that the public need to understand and be protected from.

Taking The Stress Out Of Irma

Thank you to the person I dealt with at the holiday Club

My daughter and I were due to travel to Cuba tomorrow and unfortunately due the hurricane we had to find a plan B

as a package trip fhere was three options I opted to transfer my money to another destination

The person I dealt with discussed what was available , he was patient considerate and after a few calls we held the flights awaited the green light from the accommodation

It did cost additional money per person but that was no ones fault and others have had their lives devastated by Irma so I can not complain

So this Thursday we are off to the Maldives it was on my to do list for another stage in my life but it's been brought forward and we are both excited to be going on an Adventure

Thanks again for helping us

I would highly recommend this travel company

My replacement documents were email within 3 hours and I booked seats on my flight last night

Very Poor Communication And Service

we used this company to book accommodation in Cuba. Quite simple request, few sightseeing tours, accommodation in two cities. The stress of dealing with this company was incredible. They were happy to take our booking, but trying to contact them regarding the booking was almost impossible. When we arrived in Cuba with our two young girls we couldn't find the Casa. When we managed to get in touch with their local rep he was equally frustrated with them. He kept asking for our flight details so that they could organise a pickup at the airport, seems The Holiday Place didn't pass this onto us.

My advise, look else where or expect stress

Great Service, Great Holiday

Really impressed with the service we received. The advice and suggestions for our itinerary and accommodation for our holiday to Cuba was first class and did not disappoint. It was easy to book and we were sent all documentation promptly. The transfers between the airport, hotels and resorts were on time and the accommodation was good value for money. Would definitely recommend and use again.

Excellent Service And Tour

We booked up with the holiday place to do golden triangle tour of India,followed by a short 5 day break in Sri Lanka,every aspect of our holiday was perfect,all hotels were first class,transport around India was brilliant,we will definitely use holiday place again.10/10.

Incredible India

We went to India inApril/May with The Holiday Place (first time of using them). We had an outstanding time. Service in the UK was excellent and in India better than excellent. Private,car, beautiful hotels, all transfers and meals etc as described. It was wonderful. So,good that we came home and we are off on a Far East tour with them at the weekend. The staff in their London office have responded very quickly to any changes we wanted to make or clarifications to,the itinerary. First class service. Our Indian trip was superb value when we booked it and so of course we worried (as you do) that it might not live up to expectations. It actually blew our expectations out of the water. So here we go again, if the Indochina trip is half as good I will be delighted. Highly recommend this company.

Bait & Switch

Attractive package holiday @ reduced price advertised on-line & real time, but was fully booked and not available. Customer induced to buy significantly less attractive package holiday, that would otherwise not have been bought. Unable to get refund!

This is clearly what they do. Victim myself recently. Lesson= Do not book another holiday until i have checked out the agent. Holiday Place are dishonest in my opinion, and once they have your money, there is ZERO chance of getting any of it back. Complaining is a waste of time, they are programmed to block any claim regardless of the circumstances. Fail to really justify anything (because they cannot)

Promoted Hotel In An Email "urgent" Deal Not Available!

Advertised a great deal in Antigua via an email, and then much later the same day said it was not available, and offered substandard alternatives or "better" places for more money. Quickly became apparent that the Hotel had not been available for several weeks as it is being refurbished. This did not stop HOLIDAY PLACE promoting it as a "hook" to get leads, and despite saying "thanks for pointing it out" continued to promote the accommodation for at least the next day as well. They have now refused to provide more than £50 towards the more expensive accommodation they offered as an alternative. Draw your own conclusions. HOLIDAY PLACE are unreliable, untrustworthy, and unreasonable. AVOID!

Do Not Book With The Holiday Place!!

HAVING SEARCHED LONG AND HARD, WE FINALLY FOUND THE PERFECT HOLIDAY IN CUBA. WE COMPLETED THE ONLINE BOOKING FORM AND PAID OUR MONEY TO THE HOLIDAY PLACE AND RECEIVED CONFIRMATION. WE STARTED THE BALL ROLLING WITH TRAVEL AND VISA ARRANGEMENTS. a REP RANG ME BACK SEVERAL HOURS LATER FIRSTLY TRYING TO EXPLAIN THAT THE TRANSFERS WHICH WERE SHOWN AS INCLUDED WERE NOT BECAUSE WE MISSED SOME HIDDEN BUTTON AND ANYWAY WOULD HAVE TO BE PAID FOR, DESPITE SHOWING AS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE. THE NEXT BOMBSHELL WAS THAT THE FLIGHTS WERE FULL AND SHE ASKED ME WHAT DID I WANT TO DO ABOUT IT. THERE WAS NO APOLOGY, NO EMPATHY, NO CUSTOMER CARE AND NO ATTEMPT TO SEEK TO FIND AN ALTERNATIVE FLIGHT OR AIRPORT. I SAID I WOULD HAVE TO CANCEL AND ASK FOR A REFUND.SHE COULD NOT HANG UP QUICKLY ENOUGH. NO COMMISSION, NO CONVERSATION. UNBELIEVABLY, I HAVE JUST LOOKED SEVERAL HOURS LATER AND IT TI SSTILL POSSIBLE TO GO THROUGH THE BOOKING AND PAYMENT STAGE AGAIN DESPOTE THERE BEING NO AVAILABILITY.
