I continued with the transaction however once I paid for my flight. Agent was from TRAVEL UNRAVEL NOTHING WHATSOEVER TO DO WITH VIRGIN. I HAVE FLIGHTS BOOKED AT TWICE THE PRICE OF VIRGIN. WHY DID SHE MISLED... HOW DID THIS COMPANY INTERCEPT MY PHONE CALL TO VIRGIN? AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

My cousin and his wife invited me in May to accompany them to visit the island of Dominica in October We started looking for flights and came across Travel Unravel who quoted the best price which was GBP1,100 per person. We spoke to an agent who started booking all the details. She started playing delaying tactics with the forms. In the meantime the price was fluctuating. It took her nearly 1 hour to complete the booking form and when she finished she said the price was now GBP1,495 per person. We went ahead and booked the flights as we wanted to secure flight connections as soon as possible In July the same agent contacted my cousin and told him there was a change of schedule and American Airlines had levied a GBP684 fee to the changes. We went ahead and paid the fees. Two weeks later she contacted my cousin again and told him that if we pay GBP80 extra for person we can sit together on the flight. We declined this proposal. On the 2nd September the agent contacted my cousin again claiming there was a cancellation to the return leg of our flight and to fix this we would have to pay per person GBP384. We refused to pay this increase and contacted American Airlines direct who confirmed there were never any fees levied for Schedule Changes and that the return leg was not cancelled at all. We called the agent and relayed this information and we demanded a refund of the GBP684. The agent is a complete nightmare to speak to. She does not listen she needs Customer Service training. We eventually spoke to her Team Leader who is just as bad as her. It took nearly 5 weeks to get a refund after numerous phone calls and emails. To top it up we received funds less GBP36. The team leader had promised to refund this shortfall which to date we have not received On the day of our return when we arrived to check in we were told our names were not registered on the flight as it was voided/cancelled. Thank goodness the Airline was able to repair the status and we were able to return as planned. Please do not use this company. They are bucket shop 3rd Party Travel agents. They claim to be trading in London which I'm doubtful about. They are all Asians using English names. Avoid like a pandemic.

Avoid at all costs. I was massively overcharged for two single Lufthansa tickets within Europe. The amount shown on the Lufthansa invoice of about £575 each was just over half of the £1,801 I was charged by them as the travel agent. When I complained, I was told incorrectly that the LH bill excluded the basic flight charge - which was untrue and directly contradicted by the LH document. They then changed their story and said they could charge what they wanted as they were trying to run a business.

Eating people money and cheating people saying they are gettign tickets for cancelled flights and refuse to refund when the flight are ready to refund. They have cheated many people still. Dont ever trust them and spend money on tickets. They will eat all your money without giving you proper service. All the bad words in the world will belong to these travel unravel team.

I booked a flight to Australia with another company who could not confirm all my flight seats, I contacted travelunravelby mistakewho quoted £158 to book my seats, I contacted them 2 days later, the price had risen to £178!!, the next morning I contacted the airline direct who confirmed that I should not have been charged anything as the seats were free as I had already booked and paid for the seats.I contacted travelunravel as I felt they should have advised me of this and to contact the airline and showed empathy instead they took £178. I gave them the opportunity by contacting them numerous times to part refund the amount paid but they have refused, not returned my calls and left me very upset and disappointed.

I am disgusted by Tavel unravel. They are insensitive. They keep blaming KLM for not refunding my ticket and yet KLM confirmed the refund was done in December 2021. I had to follow this up myself after being told to bring proof that KLM had paid them. KLM sent a confirmation email which I forwarded and he confirmed receipt of my email and he said he will forward to payment department for my refund. That was two months ago and he has now gone back to saying no payment was received.

I paid for a ticket through them and it has been a year trying to get my hard earned refund from them.

The agent I paid to is now told is on long time sick.

Then got passed to another agent who is worse than I have ever known. He pretends to understand my frustration but does nothing to resolve this long outstanding issue.

I am sometimes told he is off duty and yet I would have spoken to him same day within 30 minutes.

I call him weekly for updates and has the audacity of blocking my calls after saying I will call you in 10 minutes.

Never in my life time use these people again.

They charge at least double the face value of an airline ticket, then use the associated credit card used for payment. Avoid. Also note how many 'positive' reviews are from accounts with one review.

we went to the Rixos on outskirts of Dubai arranged transfers and paid for these but the return pick up never turned up, I rang the company arranged by travel unravel a day previous to confirm 10 am pick up, they never turned up so we had to take two taxis as no big taxis available we were told they would refund .

I spoke to a man at travel unravel and I have not heard nothing fro a week.

They are selling changed and cancelled flights, while they get refunds from the airlines they also keep our money and profit off extra payments customers into in order to change flights. The directors of this company do not even live in the UK, they live in India, their customer service is outsourced to most likely India. The company accounts which are available on campaniles house show the companies very healthy bank balance while they refuse to issue refunds and people out of their hard earned money.

Charged almost 75% more than if the ticket had been booked direct with the airline. We thought we were booking directly with the airline. The airline allows free cancellation whereas this company does not. Their "Lowest Price Assurance with Price Match Policy" is a joke! Don't make the mistake we did.
