At First Sainsburys Dvd Rental Seems Like A Very G

At first Sainsburys DVD Rental seems like a very good service. Turnaround time is quite fast. HOWEVER, after about half a month the service gets worse and worse. Turnaround time becomes three to four days, the dvds are all from the bottom of your list and the customer service provides no help at all.

After two months I became completely fed up. I phoned up to cancel and they gave me two free months! I am going to use these up but I have already signed up with another company who are actually sending DVDs. I figure any dvd I get now will cost the company.

I made the mistake of sending two dvds in the same envelope. These got lost in the post. The replacements (next two dvds) both got lost in the post on the way to my house. I doubt Sainsburys even sent them. You have to wait 7 days to report it, and another 3 to 4 days for the next dvds to be sent. Also, when you report it you have to do them individually. Instead of having two lost envelopes I have four lost DVDs. My account is now suspened and under investigation. They say it will be sorted within 3 days. If I get another DVD this month I will be very lucky!

Basically, DO NOT USE SAINSBURYS DVD RENTAL SERVICE, unless you like wasting money.

Sainsburys Dvd Rental Is Truly Awful! I've Used Lo

Sainsburys DVD Rental is truly awful! I've used LOVEFILM before, and they were OK, but in a month of using Sainsburys, I have never received any of my top 5 films.

I was using the 3 disc free trial. The turnaround was so slow; I was away for nearly a week and was expecting DVD's when I got back, and there was 1 !

Two of the DVD's were badly damaged and I had trouble watching them.

There's no way I'm continuing after the free trial. Pull your socks up guys. For a 3 disc a month trial, I expect to receive more than 7!

Sainsbury's Dvd Rental Is Very Good And When I Hav

Sainsbury's DVD rental is very good and when i have finished watching the film and i send it off, it takes a day to arrive and a day to receive one back so it is very quick. There is a good choice of content and they have also started PSP umd films for rental and they also now rent PS2 games.

Sainsburys Dvd Rental Is Not A Bad Company. Good

Sainsburys DVD Rental is not a bad company. good to have the 1 month free trial, so get as many films as you can in, as after that they are rubbish. sometimes up to 3 days to receive my disks back after I sent them, I increased by tier to 4 at a time, but after a weeks on only getting 3 i reduced it back down. They told me 'due to the fair policy blaa blaa blaa...' in other words they must deliberatly hold them back. Used to be with Blockbuster, they are miles better....

I Emailed Sainsburys Dvd Rental Querying The Quali

I emailed Sainsburys DVD Rental querying the quality of the service I was receiving. (unlimited dvd rental, 3 at a time.) They told me I wasn't top priority - they had to see to customers renting lesser amounts before someone like myself (admittedly a high user) to ensure "fair play".

Not satisfied with this reply I wanted to know why, as someone paying for their premium package, I wasn't as much of a priority as the next person. If I'm paying for unlimited dvds that's what I should be getting - as indeed everyone should be. They didn't once try and blame the slow postal service. Rather they told me around 75% of dvds are processed within 2 days. I was waiting at least 4 days for one to be processed after their receiving it. From reading about other people's experiences I can only assume they try to limit the amount of dvds each customer receives.

In a month of use I was very lucky if I received any dvd from my top 10.

If you're a high user, don't go near this service. It's not good value for money compared to other deals out there. I'm going back to Blockbuster.

I Paid For The 3x Dvd Service From Sainsbury's Dvd

I paid for the 3x DVD service from Sainsbury's DVD Rental service and after the first 2 weeks it became a joke. They turned around approximately 1x DVD a week, which is just unacceptable.

Here was their response:

"We appreciate that you may not be happy with the service we provide but this is the way that we run our company"!!!!!!

Appalling - I will cancel before the next renewal and advise anyone considering them to avoid avoid avoid.

I Use Sainsburys Version Of Lovefilm. I Pay For 3

I use Sainsburys version of Lovefilm. I pay for 3 DVDs at a time and all was fine in the first couple of weeks. Now they only supply one DVD at a time and still charge for 3. As I watch more films than TV I do want the 3 films but they now refer to a "fair play" policy and have reduced the number of films I can have in any month which is opposite to the advertising blurb.

I also have on average 20 films on my list at any one time and they never seem to have any of the top ten available.

As soon as I get near to the end of this month I shall cancel and go back to Screenselect.

Sainsbury's Online Dvd Rental Service Is A Clear C

Sainsbury's Online DVD rental service is a clear case of 'you get what you pay for'. I have the lowest grade of membership, renting only one DVD at a time, and find the turnaround is very poor. A DVD returned on a Thursday will often not show up on the system as returned until the following Monday (I don't know whether or not they work over the weekends and Bank holidays, but I think not ). The choice of films is not bad if you know exactly what you are looking for, otherwise the browser is sometimes difficult to navigate giving you only a few films under each genre. One good point, I managed to rent 5 DVDs during the free 14 day trial period, but this was a service they have since failed to live up to. I am now down to renting 1 DVD a week.

Sainsburys Dvd Rental (www.sainsburysdvdrental.co.

Sainsburys DVD Rental (www.sainsburysdvdrental.co.uk): I was recommended this servive by a friend, and although they miss directed my first DVD they responded promptly to my e-mail and resolved the problem quickly and efficently. I've never had a problem with the service and (with the service I picked) I get a DVD approximately each week. Not bad for £7.99!

Lastly, I'm more likely to pick a black and white french subtitled, african art house pick than your average Hollywood blockbuster - but I've never had a problem finding a film to watch.

Although Sainsburys Dvd Rental (www.sainsburysdvdr

Although Sainsburys DVD Rental (www.sainsburysdvdrental.co.uk) use the Lovefilm rental service, and you have access to the terrific range of titles held by Lovefilm, the standard of service if you are a Sainsburys subscriber is much slower. Turnaround of titles often takes over a week even though first class post is used in both directions. Avoid.
