"Beware" of shopping with Lacoste on line..Bought 2 polo shirts and a light jacket online from Lacoste,28th Feb 2012.Polos were great,jacket was too small.Packaged jacket up, returns label affixed.A week passed and I called the customer help line to confirm with them the package had been received."Yes" I was told on the 6th March 2012.And a 10 day refund policy would apply.20th March came and went.I e mailed Lacoste only to be mailed back that there was NO records of the package being received !!I mailed back telling them thier service line had told me the package had been received the 6th March and they state "calls will be recorded" so track the call and "bingo" I would have the proof of the return.They then mailed back saying the package had been received the 6th March but would now have to be shipped to the German depot !! What the hell has that got to do with me,they have the jacket,I want a refund of the money!! I had called the helpline again and was told a refund would be in my account 22nd / 23rd March 2012 and sorry for any mix ups..Guess what ?? NO REFUND..what a JOKE Lacoste are for a big company,their refund service is terrible,the service team dont have a clue,excuses galore,no refund on the horizon..Shop with them to your peril,the quality of the goods is as would be expectid very good..BUT if you want a good old fashioned RUN AROUND trying to get your money back then Lacoste are for you !!! Still no refund,nearly a month later................

I bought 4 lacoste polo's off this f***er cost £120, said it was a co.uk web site but was fakes from Thailand, emailed ANDREW BYARD many times but no reply. Soon after they arrived the website suddenly dissapeared, paypal where no use at all in trying to claim the money back, this c**t seems to be ripping people off with fake Dvd's as well.... when will paypal stop dealing with this joker!

I hope Mr Byard reads these reviews, because if i ever meet up with you... i promise you will never walk again.

I am amazed and shocked at these reviews. The same thing has happened to me with 2 fake ralph lauren t-shirts, which after many emails I returned to an address they supplied which did not exist so the items came back to me! I still awit with no hope of a refund, and I too did not see anything which suggested it was run overseas.My t-shirts had a ralph lauren care lable for Cashmere onthem!!

I too tried Paypal for the same Byard person but there seems to be no way of reporting him to Paypal. Clothing Planet website appeared saying it was clsed for holidays so they no know we are on to them. How do we collectively report this to Trading Standards and get them tracked down? I suugest we take his name and Paypal account to the Police and to Ralph Lauren who are very interested in this and probably deal with idiots like him all the time!

Clothing Planet are a crowd of con artists. The clothes are of very poor quality and clearly fake. I am still waiting on a refund of £95 three months after I returned the shoddy products which were sent to me. Like others, I will be referring this so-called company to my local trading standards department. Franly, they should be behind bars!

what a joke this turned out to be, it makes no references to the company being outside the uk, assumed i was buying the real thing, everythinbg was fine communications wise, until the items were returned which cost me £30 to return to Tailand. then communications stopped no refund no nothing they have ripped me off £130 cabnt believe still allowed to sell products, theswe people need shutting down. i paid via credit card not paypal so have no protection right now as havent got a pay pal account. any help anyone on ideas to get my money back, i want to go all the way and bring this firm down, anyone with me. if so email me [email protected]

ordered a fre perry shirt turned out to be a total fake tried to get money back no reply to emails i sent tried paypal they are useless told me to send it back to an address they gave me it cost me ten more pound to send not heard anything back he does not reply to email now paypal have washed ther hands of it THEY ARE JUST AS BAD WHY DO THEY DEAL WITH THIS MAN ???????????

I ordered a lacoste t-shirt from this company; when it arrived it was the wrong size (and worst still, a fake), so i asked for a return address and a refund. I was given an address in Thailand; spent £10 sending it over there, and in the meantime, kept emailling the company and the person i paid via paypal- an ANDREW BYARD. The webpage went out of action in this time, which made me panic even more, the guy is obviously a CON MAN. Subsequently, the item was returned to me, as no one had picked it up from the address i sent it to, so now i have a fake t-shirt and no refund. No responses to my emails regarding refund so escalated the issue with paypal. I await with hope for a resolution. I also decided to notify WATCHDOG about this company, as i would hate for anyone else to get caught out in the same way.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS BOGUS SITE AND THIS CHARLATAN SELLER.

These conmen are only getting one star as the site does not let me give them no stars.

Do not buy from these people. I ordered 2 polo shirts at £30 each, both were fake and very poor quality, the Lacaoste fake even had Ralph Lauren buttons. As soon as the goods arrived in a shoe box from Thailand I suspected there would not be original and was soon proved correct.

The seller said he would give me a refund so I followed his instructions and sent them back recorded mail (which to Thaliand cost another £15).

Then I never heard anything again, after several attempts to contact him, I raised a claim via paypal. Paypay were utterly useless and did not resolve this. I wish I read the reviews below first. Why do paypal allow conmen like this to trade via their site. I am disgusted at both this seller and paypal - both completely out of order!!!!

Determined to get my money back , so exculated the claim with paypal and contacted my local trading standards officer. After many emails received this reply yestreday.

We were able to recover 119.96 GBP, and this amount has been credited to

you. Please allow five working days for this adjustment to be posted.

Don`t give up, also you will notice that he (for the moment) ceased trading on the web.
