Great Price Comparison Website For House Conveyancing

I have recently moved and used the houseconveyancing.org website to compare conveyancer legal fees online. It was very easy, fast and the prices were the best compared to another couple of sites that I used. Definately recommend them to my friends, family and you.

Brilliantly Easy To Use

As a first time buyer, I wasn't sure where to start looking for a coveyancing solicitor to help with my planned purchase, but everything I read online said I needed to instruct one as soon as possible. I did a search looking for a website that would allow me to compare solicitors and found houseconveyancing.org. It really simplified the process of researching what different solicitors could offer in terms of fees and disbursements.

The site is really easy to navigate, with separate tabs at the top of the page that allow you to search for a solicitor specialising in the kind of transaction you want. There are tabs for sale only, purchase only, sale and purchase, re-mortgaging and transfer of equity. I chose the purchase tab and was asked to fill in the purchase price, an optional postcode, and then select yes or no for a series of options that I suppose would effect the quotes. It was really easy and took less than a minute.

I list of conveyancing solicitors was brought up really quickly. The information is set out in such a way that it is really easy to compare. You have a column showing the company name, a quote for fees, a quote for disbursements and the option to view more info or instruct the solicitor.

I've got to be honest, I had no idea what disbursements were. Another great feature of the site though is the blog! I was a bit freaked out by seeing these extra costs that I didn't understand, so I did a quick search to see if the site could provide any information to help clear things up. I was taken to a blog post that clearly explained that disbursements are third party costs for jobs carried out by agencies other than the solicitor. With this in mind, I went back to look at the search results.

I made a list of the best deals, then used the view button to look at each quote in detail. The view option brings up an itemised list of everything that is included in the quoted fees. This is a really useful comparison tool. I also took the time to visit the solicitors' websites and looked up reviews of each company on independent websites. I'm a big believer in leaving detailed reviews, as I find them so helpful in making decisions about online purchases (hence the review I'm leaving now).

Having researched the companies, I made a decision on the solicitor I wanted to go with. It wasn't the cheapest deal, but the feedback the company got was great and their website really appealed to me. I went back to houseconveyancing.org and clicked on the link to instruct. A new window opened with a simple form to fill out. All I needed to do was fill in my personal correspondence details and click 'instruct'. It took about two minutes. There was also a box for any additional information - so I let them know I was a first time buyer.

The solicitors contacted me the same afternoon by phone and talked through the upcoming process with me. They were really professional and I'm really happy with my decision. I'm now waiting for them to send me a starter pack of paperwork. Choosing a good solicitor was so easy with houseconveyancing.org. Unlike other comparison websites, it is set up to specialise in finding a conveyancing firm. This makes it much quicker and easier to use than websites that compare lots of different sorts of company. I would highly recommend this website to anyone looking for a conveyancing solicitor!

I have marked value for money as 5 stars, because the service is absolutely free! You don't get better than that!
