Not Safe Place For Any Teen Or Child
it is the worst thing that you may offer to your child, chats there are mean , bad words , and members there can have online kissing , rubbing, close position, I created a fake account to see what is going there and it was terrible.
if it was without chats or messages just to make up fashion design it will be ok , but it turned to free online virtual rooms and even if you report bad chats nothing is done no one cares.

Many members have tried to contact their customer support and receive form letters that often do not answer the problem. When they do reply to a specific inquiry they often give out false information either on purpose or due to their apparently lack of awareness. They seem to only care about making money and not the safety of the younger people using the site.
They don't permanently block people from the site. They allow them to return with new identities to do the same thing over and over again. Stardoll is an awful place for young people where they can bully in clubs, they can steal and Stardoll doesn't do anything. They claim to be safety first but they aren't. They treat their adult customers as if they are children and they have no respect for the children on their site either.
The site is too interested in raising their prices and selling things to their customers to care about anything else. Don't let your children play here. Adults can barely stay safe. Children are open to being preyed upon.

Stardoll Isn't Terrible.
Personally I find stardoll fun and fairly child friendly. It's a great fashion and beauty game, without too much pressure. Under 13's have kidsafe protection and generally there isn't much bullying after that. As long as your chid(ren) are wary and careful about what they do and say and what clubs they join then they will be fine. My tip is not to add people as a friend you don't know or if you do don't talk to them. There are two button, report and block you can use and I would suggest using them if necessary.
Otherwise stardoll is a fun website for children ten and over and isn't as bad as some people say, as it is down to the player as to who they add and talk to, so BLOCK and REPORT nasty people or just don't add them in the first place. It's all about knowing the e-safety rules. They have also been improving their moderation of over 13's and have had cyber bullying information on the website and what to do.

And then it all comes down to the issue of cyber-bullying. I don't believe there is really a serious problem of cyber bullying on the site but, there is a problem. The kids on this site are rude and they like making others feel inferior. Its an on-line inflated ego thing. Many leave the site because they feel intimidated by others. Swearing and Abusive language is a problem and they get away with it by using words such as 'bxtch'. I Would never recommend anyone I know from a younger youth audience to join this site. The site is good minus the untrained kids.
