I went in to look at a bike a few months back ( £20k custom bike)and after two minutes with the salesman walked straight out, not one thing about the place looked honest and the " effing and blinding" and attitude of the staff makes me wonder how they every sold anything to anyone, according to the report they made £175k profit on a £350k turnover so must have been selling absolute scrap. The judge at Leeds sent them all down the boss Klaus getting 3 years. They were also done for money laundering so God only knows what else they were up to.

just think if something is too good to be true it is unlikely to be true, bite the bullet and head for an honest dealer you will save thousands in the long run

We bought a vehicle from them in 2009 and had a HPI check done by mycarcheck.com now turns out there was finance on the vehicle all the time mycarcheck now say there check didnt cover outstanding finance! another battle with these people starts! We had trouble with them straight after we bought it, nice vehicle good price shame it was already a write off and they knew it too and now this

My son bought a used Proton from Autopoint Hipperholme. When he got it home he took it to our local garage for them to check it out. They said it had been in a serious side on accident and was unroadworthy. 'George' from Auto point offered to pay for half of the repairs - but guess what - we not only have not had any money from them but we also can not contact them either!

I bought a Landrover pickup before Christmas 2011. Soon afterwards discovered it had a badly welded cracked chassis. They offered to swap it but whichever alternative I pointed to I was told I couldn't have that one. Instead we agreed a cash contribution to the cost of repairs. They failed to pay saying they didn't have any money. In the end I took them to court and got a judgment. When it came to enforcing it they said it was their sales rep had sold me his vehicle and he's left. I actually bought it off their website. Ia Autotrader.

This company is trading now as HIPPERHOME AUTOPOINT, Halifax Road, Hipperholm, Halifax.

Do not deal with them.

We paid a holding supposibly returnable deposit of £100 on mon overphone, to see bike wed, agreed a price of £2500 (advertised at £2795 on Auto Trader).

Got there to find a not quite as descibed bike which we thought OK it'll do for the money, we wer'nt allowed to see docs. We had to get our monies out of an ISSA so there was no way we could take it then and there. We were assured it would be a returnable deposit and that if we couldnt get monies by sat we could walk away with our deposit....

Driving home we started to worry about some of the details and what had been said so after some thought we rang thurs and said we could'nt get monies in time and wished to cancel our order and asked for our deposit back.

No refund by mon...rang them, they got arsey...

No refund by tues.....they got very arsey, said 'oh Micks not in', 1/2 hr later, 'he's still not in'....

Finally got to talk to Mick, big argument, refused to give deposit back, said we had to come and get it...I don't thnk so we said , it was paid on a card so put it back on the card.

Phone was put down several times, we have ended up threatening them with Trading standards and Police....they put phone down again...

We've just this mo phoned police after seeing all the reviews on here, and having spoken to Auto Trader.

Don't be fooled by these bare faced criminal liers, they're as dodgey as they come, card payments are listed as some isle of man company not Hipperpoint at all.

Like many more people i also had a very bad experience, i bought from the garage trading as Hipperhome Auto Point, on initial view of the car i was really pleased, just what i wanted. When driving home the engine management light came on, i called them as soon as i got home, was advised it had a new battery fitted and the light would go off within a day, obviously the light didnt, i called them again and again and again, to cut a long story short it had a total of over £1000 of work which needed to be done, i spoke to them and was fobbed off with ' Mick isnt in' 'Mick is busy' 'Mick is off today' i found them intimidating, rude and unhelpful, eventually took the vehicle back for them to look at, they kept the car for three weeks, i went to pick it up after mick telling me it was all sorted, they had obviously been driving my car while they had the vehicle, there was approx £35-£40 of diesel in the tank when i left the vehicle and the tank was empty when i collected the car, there was ash on the passenger seat and in the back (i dont smoke). They had done no repairs to the car, the engine management light was still on but knowbody in the garage for me to see.

Absolutly disgusting, STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKES!!!! how they are allowed to still be trading is beyond me.

Good price, very clean, stayed open late when I got stuck in traffic.

They had a fantastic stock of unusual and intesting bikes, cars and motorhomes. I could have spent hours just looking around.

Will stop in next time I am in that part of the world
