Avoid So Poor Customer Service

Received exhaust for my vehicle, found it was wrong fitment, it took two weeks for a replacement only to find it was the same as originally sent, even after sending pics of original, as vehicle was off the road I had to source elsewhere. After 8weeks I am still awaiting a refund exhaust was collected eventually.

Company refused to recompensate for delivery charges

Emails take several days to reply asking for info already submitted .

Very poor service, I am disappointed and would not recommend

Avoid Them At Any Cost !

I ordered a part which was described as being compatible with my car. When I tried to install it proved to be different than the original.

I opened a return case and Online Automotive wanted me to pay return postage despite bringing clear evidence that it's their mistake. They never solved the issue despite sending them many messages.

Avoid them at any cost !

Refund Still Required.

£750 refund STILL required, incorrect parts supplied, extremely evasive and unhelpful call handlers, even suggested that I may be an unscrupulous buyer. IT WAS INCORRECTLY SUPPLIED PARTS. Legal advise taken. Will update.wish i had read reviews my family cannot afford the loss of £750 especially on top of a correct replacement.

Beware Of This Company

Beware of this company

I ordered exhaust parts costing £450 on the Tuesday they stated would definitely be delivered by Thursday.

Parts did not arrive so I contacted on Thursday and they stated would be definitely delivered on the next day Friday.

It's now Monday still the parts have not arrived.

Telephoned them on Monday stated parts should arrive tomorrow.

Customer service stated they could only refund the delivery charge which was about £12

I have lost work for 3 days which cost me over £200.

Very disappointed I suggest you do not rely on this company

Faulty Exhaust - No Refund

Ordered a part exhaust which on delivery had a hole due to poor welding.

Faulty part was collected 21/8/18 but am still awaiting full refund. Unacceptable. Have asked credit card provider to clawback what I paid.

Poor Quality Control, Poor Call Centre Service, Poor Postage

Ordered 2 calipers, 1 of which arrived in rusting, pitted condition. sold as new parts, rusting one suspiciously appeared to be badly remanufactured. Paid extra for postage, - parts arrived ( including defective one quickly but from returning defective part to arrival of replacement - well , I'm still waiting 5 days later!!

Staff not exactly interested in problem, and certainly no offer of postage refund.

Obviously, quality control of parts is not undertaken by despatch , effectively, they probably have no idea what is in the box.

I would not recommend dealing with this company for parts in future, especially not critical equipment involving vehicle safety or MOT pass

Really Bad !

Orderd a new exhaust for my car they then told me that i had orders the product twice which i hadn't. Phoned up to cancelled the order they told me it had been cancelled but then turned up a couple of days later. They then charged me £18 to collect it even though the order was ment to have been cancelled and had to wait 2 weeks for my refund to be processed. Never had such bad service from any other site will not be using again and do not recommmend !

So Bad, Surprised They Are In Business At All

I'll keep it short. Needed new CAT so they took my money and then asked for more once they received my exhaust system. Stupidly I paid. Twice they send a new item which would not fit and in the second case 6 inches out. Simply would not fit. After 6 many weeks of waiting, finally decided to cut losses and got a refund, asking for my exhaust back. I only needed CAT replacing, rest of exhaust was fine but they sent it back cut into pieces so rendered useless. Additional costs for me. I also incurred additional costs for my mechanics time (car on ramp, attempts to fit etc). Automotive Online refused to pay even a penny towards it. Avoid at all costs is my advice.

Similar issue , Received exhaust cat ECV05015 which does not fit , have contacted them and am now in the process of prosecuting the SELLER ,

GOODS NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE, This information is current 11th May 2016 ,

I got one call back they asked me to send them the incorrect part , at my expense, however in UK LAW as the SELLER onlineautomotive.uk is LIABLE for REPLACEMENT FREE OF CHARGE INCLUDING DELIVERY , Failure from customer services to rectify situation, Failure to provide correct part, Failure all round , Have given notification of 24hour rectification requirement , failure to do so will result in ongoing NEGATIVE PUBLICITY AND DEMAND FOR FULL REFUND , DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS SELLER AS SELLER INCOMPETENCE EXCEEDS 100%
