I bought a part costing nearly £1000. When it arrived it was the wrong part. Renparts arranged collection for a refund. They confirmed the return was received. However after repeated promises no refund has been received aftet 3 months. I now have started a CCJ and contacted BBC Rip off Britain.

Sent Wrong Item Then I Needed To Pay For Cost To Return
I was needing a spare tyre for my Renault Laguna. I advertised on the website "1stchoice.co.uk" A website that specialises in hosting the sales of recycled vehicle parts, what I was needing, being sure to input the size I was needing clearly as 225/45R17.
Renparts answered my advert with offering Wheel (Spare) Current wheel 225/45R17 for £73.50. What they sent me was a space saver, numbered 135/80R17, clearly not what I was looking for. And at a price you may expect to pay for a recycled proper wheel, not a recycled space saver.
I contacted them, they tried to tell me this was what I had ordered, but after I made clear it was not they agreed to have it collected and issue a refund. They didn't issue a refund
I never heard from them until I chased it up. They claimed to have sent a courier, but I didn't see one. They then said that if I wanted a refund I would need to return the space saver. I paid £14.40 to have it returned to them and received a refund. But it meant I had to pay £14.40 for their mistake. I had offered tto dispose of the space saver for them but they demanded it be returned if I wanted a refund.
I have written to Trading Standards about them.

We ordered a subframe from you on 20/5/22 for a Jaguar. The part delivered was incorrect for our car. We have been promised a refund, but every time I phone there is a different excuse. No-one in accounts department. Boss is away and can't authorise credit etc etc. Have phoned and e-mailed numerous times and still no closer to receiving our refund. Appalling company to deal with.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
I was sold parts that were incomplete and incorrect.
I spoke on the telephone to a member of staff who said they understood what I needed and I even gave serial numbers and part numbers. Clearly informed that I needed complete parts (I have proof to show this is what I asked for)
Incomplete parts arrived missing important brackets and mounts and not one but two incorrect radios.
When I asked for the missing part I was given an attitude and told they would collect everything the next day. This was impossible as I was away and not had time to repack. Still they ignored me and are refusing to accept return for the wrong parts.
I’m £145 out of pocket and have now gone through my bank to recover funds.
Absolute joke of a company and immature staff who ignore you.
Please feel free to ask for the proofs I have screenshots and pictures as well as emails.

£2950 for an engine, sent wrong engine 6 weeks still waiting pick up to then try refund and if you raise your voice they hang up. AVOID

This is a dreadful company to deal with and I would advise any potential customer to avoid them at all costs.
They quoted me for some central locking parts for my daughter's Renault Clio and I subsequently contacted them by phone, was assured that the parts required were in stock and would be delivered within 2-3 days, and paid by credit card. When they did not arrive I contacted Renparts and began a very long and irritating series of communications with their manager who consistently made excuses. This went on for between two and three weeks until I finally received completely the wrong parts!!
I subsequently obtained a full refund through my credit card company but this was no real compensation for the whole irritaing and time consuming process of trying to deal with this set of people.

You Have Been Warned Keep Well Clear
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!! Stay very clear of this company, RenParts is in liquidation and is now trading as RenPart Europe Ltd, i requested a gearbox and was fobbed of for 3 months and in the end they sent me a gearbox that was so bad the one i took out of my old one was in a far far far better shape, i am not sure how that got the 5 stars reviews transferred over and i do not believe its true as i am sure its all fake. I used parts gateway and the concept is great and would use them again as i did eventuality get my gearbox from a different dealer within 24 hours.
RenParts Ltd/RenPart Europe concept is to say they have the parts and take your money then send you over a dispatch note and then it starts "" oh i will look in to it why you have not received it" a week passes " still with transport will be with you by the end of the week" week passes " oh its been lost in transit i will locate you a new one will come back to you" i hope you can see were this is going and how this plays out to " i am sorry i can not get you one i will have have to refund you but just give me a couple of days as the owner hates giving refunds" and the same process starts to get your refund. as i did say i went back on PartsGate way and found a gearbox from others but when i put a new search RenParts pop up again advertising a gearbox for £475.00 the director is the girl whom takes your call...

Late And Missing Parts
Waited almost 2 weeks for engine to arrive after being told it would be a few days.
It arrived missing parts that it was listed with.
Have been chasing said parts for 3 weeks and still not received them.
Was offered a refund but the refund wont cover the parts that I need to finish the job so I'm stuck waiting for them to source and send the parts.

Warning Beware Renparts
Do not buy from Renparts.
I have never written a review before but I feel I must warn people about the terrible service and the trouble that dealing with Renparts can cause you.
I ordered and paid for a gearbox on 24th May and it has taken me until the 20th June to get my money back. I have waited weeks for a gearbox I was desperate for, yet when I ring up I am fobbed off and they do not return my calls.Finally they tell me that the gearbox, on a pallet, is lost in the post.
These people will take your money for a part they don't have and then tell you it takes up to ten days for your refund to come through. But they took my money immediately.
Only when I took this up with Visa did the money return.
Terrible business and a terrible way to treat customers.

3x Wrong Parts Came.
I ordered some parts in December but multiple times I either received the wrong parts, the right parts but broken or so worn they are unusable. This happend despite emailing him with a renault diagram with arrows pointing to the parts, pictures of same item required from google images and giving correct Renault part numbers?? First 2 attemps the complete wrong item came. On the 3rd attempt 1 correct part came but was broken 2 others in same package were wrong. I asked politely for a refund. 1 week later no refund. I called back to be told they were now sending correct items which wasn't broken yet not what I wanted!! I said I want them to send pictures and wait for me to accept before sending then or as requested refund me. 4 days and 2 more phone calls later the parts just arrived with no email. These were so badly worn I've given up and thrown in a skip. I've lost my money, spent hours on the phone and miltiple emails. I'll now go main dealer. Total 13 weeks of hassle and calls. AVOID AT ALL COST!!
