Ordered a Barbour shirt for my husband for Christmas. He didn’t like the product i had chosen so paid for the return for a refund. I have received an email saying they won’t give me my refund as they believe it smelt of washing powder, they they believed the short had been washed and also the tags had been removed. This is a complete lie. My husband tried the shirt on, but as he didn’t like it the shirt was packed up and sent back on 27th December. They have said they will send the shirt back into me. Very very poor customer service. How desperate for a sale. Would never use this shop again.

Paid for Express Delivery, still no sign of my parcel. Customer service is dire, they just blame it on DPD and take no responsibility. Had to contact Klarna to report the issue to prevent any further payments being made.

Customer service is a joke.

You’d think in the current circumstances they would be willing to accept the return of an item with the tags still on it completely unworn. But instead told me tough luck.

Already had my eye on a number of items I wanted to purchase from them in future as I will say the delivery speed was very good but honestly just avoid.

There a number of better options out there for designer clothes and I would absolutely never shop here again.

Very disappointed. I missed the Christmas returns deadline by 4 days because I had flu for 2 weeks after Christmas. The shoes I bought for my son were too big and ready to return, unused, but the company refused to allow the return, or an exchange.

I was surprised to see this inflexible treatment, this has not happened with other companies where the same issue arose. The shoes were very expensive and now cannot be worn.

I suspect they only put good reviews on their website, which gives the impression they are better than they actually are. I would certainly not rate their customer service.

Poor Customer Service- do not order from here!

I purchased an item and on returning it I was informed that I would not be refunded due to the item not being returned within their 14 day period. I returned it within 16 days.

Unless you are 100% sure that the item you are buying is for you do not purchase from here as there is no opportunity to return an item in store for a refund let alone via postage.

Would not recommend this clothing shop in the slightest!

First the good. Will not take long.

In the interest of fairness it was the cheapest out there. This is why I rate it at poor as opposed to terrible. I am being fair.

There were cheaper ones out there, but not in a Medium. Which is where the positives stop!

I will never use " Aphrodite 1994 Clothing" EVER again.

On my check out page it read

"Shipping Selected - Next Working Day"

I was charged £5 for this privilege! It took four days for my item to reach my door! Yes FOUR DAYS!!!

I have been in touch with the company. I asked for some postage funds to be reimbursed and they have pretty much just told me to go away. They sent me some random screen shot that does NOT even relate to my purchase. I do wish I could add it here. The screen shot basically said the post is not guaranteed, which apparently is hidden somewhere in the small print, SOMEWHERE on the site. The picture was of postage costs for £2.50!!! Mine was £5.00!!!! So it was not even related. There is nothing regarding the info they sent me on the actual CHECK OUT PAGE. Which is where this kind of information should be. This way paying customers would know!!

When you have spent over £180 (Barbour Jacket) you really would expect to firstly get EXACTLY what you have paid for and secondly to be treated with the upmost respect. My wife was going to get her self a jacket as well, but NOT A CHANCE NOW!!! We will look else where. So for the sake of them doing the right thing which was to reimburse my postage funds, they have lost another £200 ish.

Ordered a Barbour jacket (Oct '15) from this firm. Minimal interaction (all electronic) but delivery reasonably prompt and product was outstanding. Two weeks later, I was hit with customs charges from FedEx of more than 12% of purchase price which was a first in my experience shopping with UK firms. Their disclaimer on buyer responsibility for customs charges is buried in their shipping manifesto but I didn't see it when I ordered and I thought I looked - obviously I needed to look more closely. The charges (over $50 US) made the price far higher than local sourcing - no recourse beyond boxing it up (my expense again) and shipping it back. International buyers simply beware.

Surfing the web like you do, i stumbled across Aphrodite1994. What a great little shop. They have a fab selection of designer garments with a really easy to navigate website. The whole process from viewing to checking out with my order was very easy. My order arrived sooner than expected (double bonus). Keep up the good work, I shall return

Ordered a Y-3 polo shirt at 3pm and received it promptly at 11am the next morning. Upon receiving the item I realised that I had ordered the incorrect size so i sent it back requesting a larger size. Within 3 days of returning the package i had a replacement that fit me perfectly. The girl who I spoke to on the phone regarding my issue upon contacting them was very friendly and her advice was sound. Regarding price, after looking elsewhere it was very reasonably priced , proving to be cheaper than many other places i looked at. You wont find a much simpler shopping experience online. The website was easy to navigate, buying was a breeze and payment couldnt simple. A very good experience that I would happily recommend to friends and family.
