Poor Customer Service

I returned 3 items in one parcel. Only been refunded for 2 of the items.

I have sent 4 emails to Dorothy Perkins to investigate but get sent automated messages stating that refunds can take upto 4 weeks. I have asked for acknowledgement that they received the 3rd item but they are not answering the question.

I will never order from this company again. Their customer service is non existentent. The item in question is only £18 but it’s my £18 not theirs!!!!!

Poor Items & Slow At Refunding

Items returned over 2 weeks ago have not been refunded (over £400 worth). They claim in Customer Services that it can take their Warehouse 4 weeks to confirm they’ve received back, but online it mentions you’ll receive refund in 10 days, another section mentions 14 days. I paid via Paypal so have put a claim in. Majority of items are very poor quality, don’t waste time in ordering from them. Cannot be trusted nowadays.

Item Delivered To Wrong Address

I paid for next day delivery for an item that I needed for a party on 1.11.19 and it was delivered to wrong address. I have been told that I may wait up to 48hrs for a response for a reply from DP as they use a courier. My contract is with DP not the courier. I cannot get a refund or my delivery money back or even a replacement blouse that I could pick up from store until they retrieve the item from the wrong address they delivered it to. This is their fault not mine. The customer Services do not seem bothered. This is a misrepresentation paying for next day delivery and not getting what you paid for. What happened to keeping customers happy DP. Won't be shopping there again.

Awful Customer Service. Shoddy Products

Awful customer service. I will NEVER shop with Dorothy Perkins again and really wish I'd read these reviews before ordering from them. I ordered 8 tops that were the worst quality tops I'd ever seen. The tops I ordered were all the same product code, just 2 different sizes in 4 colour ways. I tried one on and the rest stayed in their packaging and sent them all back the same day within 1 hour of receiving them. Their receivers didn't count out the items properly and only refunded me for 7 of the 8 tops I'd received despite me writing all over the returns form that they were really poor quality - and also they should have spotted that I'd only tried on one top. But when I asked them to refund the whole amount they think I am lying and are now demanding a whole long list of details including parcel weight, returns date, etc which I never thought to record. So basically I have lost my money down to their error and shoddy clothing (which I would have kept if the quality had been acceptable because the tops were a nice style, just completely see through t-shirt material).

I did predict a while ago that Dorothy Perkins would be the next High Street chain to fold and now I'm certain of it. No company can survive when they produce shoddy products and treat their customers so badly.

Appalling Online Service

I am still waiting for my online order, and a reply to my complaint , two weeks after ordering . It should have arrived in store 10 days ago. On the day it was meant to be ready for collection I received an email saying there was a delay with my order and it would arrive a “LITTLE “ later than expected !!!! I left it a couple of days and , when I had still not received a despatch email , I rang them to cancel the order . I was informed that as my order had been caged , and ready for despatch , this was not possible . SEVEN DAYS LATER AND STILL NOTHING, I will never place an order with Dorothy Perkins again . APPALLING COMPANY with no idea about customer service . Would give 0 stars if I could .

Paid extra for next day delivery and items were not delivered.

Called for a refund and they switched off their customer service phone line. No email or other way to contact them. Shocking service for a retailer that’s unlikely to survive in the current marketplace.

placed an order online 25th March when I went into account states being packed at warehouse, was same message for 10 days [unbelievable taking so long to pack 3 items] called customer service waited 25 mins for answer to be told delivery should be 5th April and I would get email when it was despatched now on same day account is saying payment approved, still waiting on 10th April and no email about despatch, so frustrating i'll never use this service again or recommend it I would give it a big fat zero stars but had to give it 1 star to be able to submit my review

So I always get my parcels delivered to a concession store of DP. Just been down to return some shoes but apparently I can’t. Because they don’t stock them I can’t return them there......so I can get them delivered there but can’t return them. Makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. Because of this I won’t waste my time using that concession again, therefore losing custom...I never just collect I always purchase something. I will just go to a normal store. Most ridiculous thing I’ve heard of

Don't Bother!!

Placed an order online over 2 weeks ago to be delivered to my local store......still waiting for it!! All my account says is that it's been dispatched from the warehouse but it has never made it to the store. Sent Dorothy Perkins an email but all you get back is an automated email saying they have received a high volume of queries and will get back to me soon....it has been 5 days now!! My only saving grace is that i have paid via Paypal so i am claiming a refund via them or else i don't think i would ever get one. Please if you are thinking of ordering with Dorothy Perkins don't bother. It was my first order with them and it is also my last!

Excellent Customer Service

Excellent customer service. My card declined but the lovely lady serving me agreed to save the dress behind the till for an hour whilst I sorted things out with the bank. This was so important as I needed the dress asap for a special occasion. Love Dorothy Perkins and very pleased with the customer service at the branch in Meadowhall - Sheffield.
