Not Despatching Orders And Blaming Royal Mail
Placed an order for goods approx £150 that failed to turn up now two weeks after they said they were collected by royal mail. Unable to provide tracking number but say I the recipient have to wait 21days so jeanstore can claim my refund. They won't give me my money back. It's obvious they are taking money for items they don't have and this must be illegal practice.avoid buying from these people
Looking at all the previous reviews I am likely to be correct.

I Returned A Pair Of Jeans To Jean Store After Wai
I returned a pair of jeans to Jean Store after waiting 2 weeks for them in the first place only to get partially refunded!!!

Money Taken...no Jeans
It has been 5 working days and No Jeans. Have been told there is No Tracking Number and we have to wait 21 days and then ask Royal Mail for a refund!
Completely unacceptable. So I hit the mattresses...DO NOT BUY FROM THEM
Dear customer, I apologise that you haven't received the item as quickly as you hoped. They were despatched the same day as your order and typically take up to 3 days to arrive. I must correct your claim that you must wait 21 days and then ask Royal Mail for a refund - this is not true. We have simply stated that 5 days is not long enough for Royal Mail to deem the parcel missing, and the likelihood is that it will arrive in the coming days. We also specified that should the parcel be lost, WE will claim from Royal Mail, and you will be refunded by US. You have since been given the opportunity to place another order so you receive your jeans quicker, and a refund for your original order. I apologise for any inconvenience caused, this does not happen often but unfortunately is always possible with postal services and is outside of our control. Many thanks for your order with us. I heard about jeans store from a friend and gutted I didn't know about them sooner! I ordered 2 pairs of jeans and a pair of trainers, saved myself £90 and they were delivered in 2 days. Chuffed, thank you jean store!

Slow Delivery - Poor Communications
This is the second time I have used JeanStore and on both occasions the items I ordered were shown as being 'in stock' so I assumed that delivery would be within the 2-3 days period stated. The first time took over one week and I had to chase up my order with no prior explanation from JeanStore as to the reason for any delay. My second order again showed items being in stock but as before, no mention of any delay from JeanStore and after 9 days my order has still not arrived. Unlike my first experience, on this occasion I haven't even received an acknowledgement of any delay in response to my 'chase-up' e-mail. It appears that the items I ordered on both occasions were/are not in stock despite what the JeanStore website says.
Strangely I am not concerned about my latest order - I am sure it will eventually arrive with me - but what does it cost to keep your customers informed once they have spent their often hard-earned money with you? Repeat business and personal recommendation are the mainstay of any business so why not try to keep your customers happy and informed so they will return again? An e-mail takes seconds to send out but would keep your customer happy throughout the 7-10 day delivery period I have come to expect as the norm from JeanStore.
A simple apology was all that was required along with the acknowledgement that on this occasion JeanStore hadn't 'lived up to my expectations'. However, to say that the goods were 'available to order' when my tracking information states that my order was 'picked in store' the same day I placed my order now makes me feel you are trying to suggest I have got all this wrong. I haven't. How could they have been picked in store if they were, as you point out above, not in stock? If the goods had indeed been showing as 'available to order' then there is no way I would have placed an order for them. And don't forget, this isn't the first time my goods haven't been delivered within the stated delivery period, it isn't the first time my order has been showing 'in stock' when, by your own admission, they were not, and this isn't the first time I haven't received prior notice of any delay with regards to delivery. Perhaps I've just been unlucky on two occasions.

I apologise that you feel the communication has not been at the level you expect - if there are ever delays in shipping products to our customers we do inform the customer by telephone or email. If you have not received an email I will have a look in to this for you.
On this occasion, despite your comments above I can see that the products you ordered were actually shown as "available to order" rather than "in stock" and our website does clearly explain on several pages that this can mean a slightly lengthier delivery time while we order the products in. Any products shown as "in stock" are always delivered within 1-3 days.
I regret that we haven't been able to live up to your expectations on this occasion, but hopefully our great prices will tempt you to use us again in the future.

Great Service, Extremely Well Priced And Quick Delivery
Phoned up the customer services team so i could get some help on picking the right pair of jeans. The lady i spoke too was very helpful and she suggested a few options that would be best for me, so i went ahead and placed an order online. 3 Days later my jeans arrived, and i couldn't have asked for better. Very helpful with regards to picking a pair of jeans that were perfect for me as i am quite fussy.
Will definitely be ordering from them in the future when i need some more. The website was so easy to use as well, simple and clear.

Hi, I have not heard of or ordered from 'jean store' before, I would just like to know does it supply genuine products and what is the average delivery like? Thank you
I do believe that the products supplied by Jean Store are genuine and have placed two orders in good faith. I am happy with the products I have received on both occasions but average delivery time in my experience has been approximately 7 days rather than the 2-3 days stated. And I wouldn't assume products are 'in stock' just by viewing the website (even if it says they are). If it's important to you then check stock availability before placing your order. Hope this helps.
