Would Not Touch These With A Barge Pole
I would not touch these with a barge pole. Firstly I was told the doors were in stock but actually they were on back order for 8 weeks. Secondly they then sent the wrong doors. Once we received the correct doors, the colors didn't match and the only resolution offered was to buy the wood oil the manufacturer uses. After all the backwards and forwards they wont accept a return even though they are still fully packaged. I may as well have tipped £2.5k down the drain.

Horrible company! My door was delivered wrapped and sealed, which I wanted to protect until my carpenter arrived, and immediately stored them flat under the bed. (during this covid time, hard to get tradespeople). Finally, after the carpenter unwrapped the packaging, we notice the door was dropped and broken at the bottom. Looks like this happened at the factory and wrapped for a customer. Now they refuse to refund or replace, due to not completely un-packaging and checking the doors on delivery .... Beware of this company!

Appalling Customer Service
I ordered some doors from this company, but was sent something other than what I ordered. When I contacted directdoors and asked to return the doors, the manager's attitude became rather rude and I found his approach quite aggressive. I said that I had the right to return these items under distance selling rules. But I was told that these were a "special order" and that therefore I could not return them. I fail to see what was "special" about them: they had not been made specially and they were still in their original packaging. In any case, they were not what I ordered! When I told him that I would raise the matter with my credit card company he
then said that he would immediately pass the case to his lawyers. He
said it in a way that suggested that this is standard procedure for his
company. I believe that this sort of approach to customer service
should be highlighted to other potential customersr.
My recommendation is this: avoid this firm. They sent me a product that was different from what I ordered and their attitude was rude and I felt it to be quite aggressive when I wanted to return it.

I ordered 5 doors I was on the phone with a tape measure measuring them every individual door and then I ended the call saying that all the doors are the same size, I remember the measurements very clearly he's made a mistake and started blaming me..
What a ignorant man blatantly lying saying that I made a mistake,
man up and tell the truth, and now I'm going to get a prophetic reply from this the assistant manager and he's manager is no better just as rude screaming down the phone at me..
and another thing I found exactly the same doors for half the price so don't buy from these people look elsewhere it's a lot cheaper trust me..
so if you want to be ripped off spoken to by ignorant pathetic people who don't know how to talk on the phone then buy from them and pay double the price.. bring it on, make yourself look pathetic.. I'm waiting for more of your lies.. lol

Product Quality Poor, Customer Service A Nightmare!
We ordered two internal "Easi-Frame White Door Sets, GWPP10-COEOP2, 2005mm Height, 2062mm Wide" with clear safety glass online. We made follow-up phone calls to ensure timely delivery. Unfortunately came delivery date, only one door set was delivered with no explanation. We complained and had no choice but to cancel the 2nd door with a full refund. The one door was installed, the built quality is poor, with frame and doors out of line. The doors were painted. To our greatest horror, when we peeled off the protective glass covering, two 2 side panels were clear glass as expected, but the two middle doors were frosted glass! Direct doors admit having sent these in error, but will not replace. We have had to buy new clear glass replacement doors at 50/50 split; the vendor claims we should have removed all protective coating to ensure it was the correct door prior to working on the door! This is the worst online transaction that we have ever made! Really not worth the trouble. I will avoid this company as the plague!

Really Pleased With The Door From Direct Doors
Really pleased with the composite door and fitting. It looks good and the fitter did a very professional job. The workman was also happy to be watched whilst fitting the door as I was interested in how it was done. I would certainly be happy to recommend the door and company.
Nice Product (lpd Doors) - Shocking Customer Service
Doors were delivered damaged after courier didn't arrange delivery date and took three attempts. Second set of doors arrived late and damaged. I asked for the doors to be collected so I could have a refund. The courier failed to turn up on the arranged date after we waited in all day. Very quick to blame the courier even though Direct Doors choose to use them. I ended up taking the doors to my work place so that they could be collected as they were unwilling to give me a refund until the doors had not been collected! As if that was our fault. Numerous times they told me that there couriers (XDP) were rubbish! Use at your peril. MY WORST INTERNET PURCHASE EVER
