BEWARE COMPANY MAY HAVE GONE BUST! Tried contacting this company due to faulty goods purchased recently and they do not respond to telephone calls or email. Telephone line just drops out whatever time of day you try and emails will not be responded to. Try yourself before buying anything. I will now need to go through the legal side for my replacement, however if you are lucky enough to read tis is will save you some money and hassle.

This is a review for the Ecostrad Veesmart radiator as well as for Electric radiators direct (who trade as Go home direct).

Unfortunately some of the products are poorly designed. The Ecostrad VeeSmart Designer radiator is smart in name only. Mine worked for a couple of days then packed in. They tried to troubleshoot but could not get the unit working. Part of the issue is that it relies on bluetooth technology meaning any updates to the firmware are a very cumbersome process. If it had been a WiFI radiator it would have been so much easier to diagnose faults and update when things go wrong.

I ended up having to return the unit and order a replacement. The replacement was also faulty. I had to pay an electrician TWICE to mount and install these radiators and it was all for nothing.

I requested a refund and the Electric Radiators Direct took months before refunding my debit card despite having the unit back in their warehouse. A bad experience. Avoid.

bought one of these to heat my new extension easy to use great features including many different options to programe when it comes on and off.

It doesn't cost a fortune to run heats up rapidly and is very controllable many temp settings from 15oc to 30oc electric radiators direct were amazing great knowledge and great customer service.

Purchased 2x 800w RC WAVE radiators and very pleased with them. We haven't got round to putting them on the wall(but appears very easy even with my limited DIY knowledge) only plugged them in and switched on to test they worked and within minutes they were up to full temperature. Very fast delivery, ordered on the Sunday night and delivered on the Tuesday morning. Unsure of running costs as of yet as we are currently on the economy 7 night storage heating system. But will definitely be coming back for more radiators in the future once we convert to another tariff. They look fantastic, work extremely well and quietly, overall very pleased with our purchase. The website was very easy to use and secure by using paypal. We don't normally believe the reviews on the websites but they are definitely justified in this case, a fantastic product that we would definitely, highly recommend.

Great company to work with. The advisor was a pleasure to deal with, was able answer any question thrown at him in a well manner way. Hopefully do business again with them.

As for the heaters, very easy to install, very easy to set up and most importantly very cheap to run!!

The heaters are very good but the company was very efficient with good communication throughout.

Replaced storage heaters with these smart and efficient radiators and have had no problems at all.

Very clear instructions for mounting and the template was invaluable to get the correct position on the wall and to ensure the holes drilled in the correct places.

As far as initial setup and programming is concerned this is less clear and the instructions have to be read very Carey and followed closely.

The performance of the rad is very good though and I would definitely recommend.

Ordering the right heater was easy, delivery was within 2 days, installation simple and the impact.....is a warm cottage in the country at last!
