Avoid This Company
Beware of this companies special offers and website. We ended not getting the plants we ordered and paying more than the offer we used. Tried using their customer service and it was a waste of a phone call and my time. My advice is avoid at all cost and send their emails to SPAM !!!

Mini-orchard
Bought the Mini Orchard (Apple, Pear, Plum & Free Cherry) which was delivered in 2009. Advertised as '1st year fruiting'. Planted as per instructions in 30litre pots (which Garden Bargains also sell) - by spring 2010 Cherry Tree was dead - I queried with GB and was advised to do the bark test which I did and confirmed the tree was dead. As I had to pay Postage to get the tree replaced (£6.99?) I didn't want to chance it in case the next tree died too - didn't want to throw money away. Other trees has a bit of blossom but no fruit. 2011 & 2012 came and went - again blossom on trees but no fruit. As at September 2013 still have had no fruit - not a single piece!
Poor Plant Bad Service
In May I bought a Morello Cherry Tree in 7 Litre Pot which I planted on the ground. Fed and watered it but it never showed signs of life. I reported this to Garden Bargains in August and was told to do a bark test. The bark test revealed that the tree was dead. I asked for a replacement and was told that they did not have any stock of this tree till September and under their Terms and Conditions they would replace it at a cost of £4.99 to me as I had not reported the matter within 30 days. I told them it took more than 30 days for me to establish that it was dead and that the Sale of Goods Act required them to replace the tree free of charge. I am certainly not going to buy from them again and I would like to warn other potential customers.

Don't Bother - Save Your Money And Go Elsewhere!
This is a company who hides behind a call centre fronting it and getting to anyone in the nursery side is nigh on impossible. Ordered one of their special offers online. Hermes is used as the courier. Tracking information given and order indicated as being on its way. 2 days later courier tracking indicates 'order not received'???? Spoke to 'call centre' customer service who now say part of the order is unavailable would I like a refund or still keep the part order and refund the part now unavailable. No possibility to talk to the Company behind the Call Centre whatsoever and Call Centre will only hide behind their T&C's and are told 'from above' what they can and can't do i.e.offer refunds only. Don't bother!!!

Ordered two fruit trees a pear and an apple.Bare rooted followed instructions after 6 weeks leaves started appearing on pear nothing on apple emailed garden bargains they suggested i do a bark test, which was green so told me the tree was still dormant and to water every day and it would eventually start to grow.another six weeks passed and i emailed them again even sending a picture of dead tree. they then said they would replace the tree in the autumn if i paid £4.99 for postage as i had exceeded their 30 day complaint procedure What a rip off they sold an item not to purpose and have the cheek to ask for further payment shop with them at your peril i certainly won't be placing another order they should improve their customer service.

8 Days To Deliver In Hottest Days Of Year
I spent £70 for 2 citrus trees it took 8 days from dispatch to delivery durring hottest days of year
They were wrapped in corrugated cardboard and sealed in a plastic bag.
What would you expect dead trees leaves curled an brown , what rubbish.
Its best to buy from your local garden centre as you can see what you are getting.
Customer service. Say if you scratch bark and it green, the tree is still alive. I dont want just a twig that's alive I want a tree with leaves that looks good.
I now have look after 2 twig for 4 to 6 weeks
And I have just noticed that I am responsible to pay for the return postage if I have to return trees.

after ordering the mini orchard of four fruit trees in January i received delivery and was not exactly over the moon with the size or the condition of the plants. i decided to persevere and planted as per instructions. after the so called dormant period two plants still looked dead and the third was like a diseased twig. i have emailed gardenbargains numerous times and have had the odd reply promising to look into the problem to no avail i have now taken to the phone only to be told there is no record of my emails and could i now send them photographs of the affected plants it is now June and the answer is no get a life do not use this company they are a complete rip off and how idealworld can put their name to this company completely mystifies me i will stop dealing with them as well.

Bought mini orchard collection 6 may an its the 24 may an still nothing bn told from there so called customer support they are out of stock an they could offer a refund or a simalar replacement but i would need to wait another 14 working days i phoned every couple of days why couldnt they tell me then cause they try to keep your hard earnd cash for as long as possible this company should not be allowed to trade as all there botherd about is getting your money to everyone wanting plants or trees DO NOT BUY FROM GARDEN BARGAINS go to your local garden centre instead

I ordered and paid for eleven fruit trees that never arrived. After three weeks of waiting it appeared that Garden Bargains had either forgot or lost the order, then I was told to wait in for the deliveries but the deliveries never came. Then they said that the courier had lost the trees, but the courier states that they never received the trees from Garden Bargains to deliver to me. Lots of pathetic excuses from Garden Bargains, and a lot of my time wasted staying in waiting from 8am-8pm daily. After nearly a month of waiting they told me that they were out of stock and they had refunded me. Not true, I am still waiting for that refund!
Please Do NOT buy from Garden Bargains and save yourself a lot of upset, frustration, and anxiety. I feel well and truly ripped-off.
