Charged For Stock They Did Not Have.
Ordered a Mower that the website claimed was in stock, with 1-2 days check/despatch. Credit card was debited immediately. Phoned the next week after hearing nothing, to be told that it wasn't in stock at all, but new stock expected soon. Tried to get confirmation and was promised a phone back, but was ghosted. Eventually lost faith and asked for a full refund, which, to be fair, arrived in my account in 3 days. They should adapt the good practice of some firms and only charge when the goods are despatched. Shall not use them again.

Be careful when ordering, they state items are IN STOCK but after you have ordered you get the regulation email saying out of stock, will be approximately 6/7 days and we will keep you updated!
Of course they will have loads of out of stock products but never update their website. Basically taking your money but unable to fulfill customer orders....not illegal but also not good business practice, crafty in fact.
I certainly will never use them again, oh...and not even an apology.
Got the same product next day from Argos and £11 cheaper!!!

Delivery Shambles
Despite giving clear instructions to Lawnmowers Direct on when it would be best to deliver our mower this was ignored, we rearranged delivery to our preferred day only for a no show, they blamed the courier, we were informed that Lawnmowers Direct had arranged for a special Saturday morning delivery only again to find out that this was untrue. No offer of compensation for wasting our time waiting in for a fictitious delivery and no effort to remedy the problem, my advice be very very clear about your delivery requirements, cross your fingers and don't believe what they tell you, so disappointed in Lawnmowers Direct and got a much better service from another similar online reseller. Shame on you Lawnmowers Direct.

Do Not Buy From This Company
Spent just under £600 on a lawnmower, followed all instructions on filling with oil and petrol. It broke on 1st use. Sent it back, after 3 weeks they have investigated and say it didn't have enough oil. It most definitely did. They want us to pay for the repair. On a brand new lawnmower. Utterly ridiculous. The product was not fit for purpose, we should have been offered a new replacement straight away. Do not buy from them; if you are spending a lot of money on a new piece of machinery, do it with a reliable firm, not this one.

Nightmare!
I ordered a lawnmower 11 days ago which was supposed to be dispatched within 1-2 days. I have had to chase the company and their courier ever since, constantly given conflicting information and was today offered a refund rather than trying to push to get to the bottom of the problem. I'm still none the wiser as to where my lawn mower is though £400 down! Speechless given all the positive reviews about how negative my experience has been. I would Never use lawnmower direct again and would advise anyone living in Northern Ireland to steer very clear of them!
Just an update...lawn mower arrived 2 weeks to the day since it was ordered and took ages to get it started. Have used once and a week on went to use agqin. Spent 2 hours trying to start it...full of new fuel, chr kh e on, fuel line open etc... Unbelievably I've had to ring lawnmowers direct today to ask them to take it away. Let's see how long collection and refund will actually take! Will never buy electrical items online again!

Honda Izy Peasy.
It's been a year since I bought my Honda Izy from Lawnmowersdirect, faultless service by them and a faultless lawnmower.
I would definitely buy from them again and buy another Honda lawnmower.

A Very Good Mower
Mower is very good well made and works well. What I find a sharp practice is being charged 51.64 euro for converting my payment into Stirling! For goodness sake thats just a cheap grab the money trick, and of course I was not advised about this extra handling charge beforehand. And my own conversion rate comes in considerably lower than what I was charged.
The mower is good as I said, the engine manual is good, the mower manual is cheaply produced rubbish and very disappointing.
Still smarting after the currency rip off, whoever is responsible!!!

A Very Good Mower
Lawnmaster 660 sport is very good well made lawnmower and works well purchased from Bartram in UK. What I find dreadful is being charged 51.64 euro for the privilege converting my payment of 1139 euro into Stirling! (Pressing a button) For goodness sake thats so OTT its ludicrous, and of course I was not advised about this extra handling charge beforehand. And my own conversion rate comes in considerably lower than what I was also charged.
The mower is good as I said, the engine manual is good, the mower manual is cheaply produced rubbish and very disappointing.
Still smarting after the excessive currency conversion charge in my view, Sage I think the company responsible is called.I could think of a better name.
