Diabolical

Has to ring 3 times as they kept missing things from my order. 3 weeks since order and still not received everything. I only ordered 3 curtain poles! Poles are expensive and poor quality for the price.

Worst company I have ever dealt with.

Poor Contact. Fail To Refund

I ordered 2 sets of poles and had free delivery back in the summer. I had good service. The Pole's came within a week.

But in the autumn I ordered another 2 sets of poles and was charged £7 for delivery, after waiting 2 weeks without delivery I chased this. Contact via email is incredibly shoddy. You have better luck on the online chat. They agreed to refund the postage which they claim is done, but has not appeared in the account I paid with. They refuse to send me the money. The Pole's arrived one month after the order and still waiting my refund for delivery.

Avoid At All Costs. Terrible Company

Terrible company and terrible customer service! Poles ok, not great as not straight, have to rely on weight of curtains to even them out and both my orders were incorrect, even though i was charged the full amount. I was then left 6 brackets short, for which they wanted to charge me £104!! Are their chrome brackets really made of sterling silver??!! I had already spent over £400 with them. They claim my order was correct despite admitting my first order was one pole missing because the supplier had run out and then they sent me someone else's finials, which i took a photo of and sent to them. Staff were rude and unhelpful, will be recommending to anyone i know never to use them.

I Really Don't Know Where To Start...

Terrible service, DO NOT USE THIS SHAMBOLIC COMPANY!

Ordered my item on 28th November, it was "out for delivery" within two days and the delivery driver, couldn't be bothered to deliver (I live less than 30 miles form the depot), but claimed to have "tried to deliver" on no less than 6 occasions. In the end the driver took it upon themselves to mark the item damaged so that they didn't have to deliver it.

Spoke with the company almost every day for nearly three weeks and could not get past the smoke and mirrors DO NOT TRUST A WORD THEY SAY, they WILL stonewall and they WILL let you down.

After taking two separate days off work to ensure that I was at home to take delivery, I gave up. The company has had my money for all this time (they took the money upon me ordering my item) and now, when I cancelled the order they have informed me that it will take "up to 5 days" to get my money back!

Poor Customer Service

I had a very poor experience using Poles Direct. I paid for next working day delivery and ended up cancelling the order 5 days later as it never appeared. While they are very easy to get hold of by phone, and initially appear very helpful, they assured me they would call back on 4 separate occasions and I heard nothing. It then took over 8 working days for them to action a full refund. I would not recommend using this site.

I'm Still Waiting

Ordered 5 poles on Weds 14th Sept 2016 with the hope that they's arrive by the weekend (apparently most orders are dispatched same day, according to their website). No such luck. Only received an order acknowledgement on the Weds but nothing after that. No notification of delay, expected delivery date, etc. I have had to make several calls today to Poles Direct to try and trace the order and find out what's gone wrong. I've now been told that I _may_ receive them on Weds. Time will tell ....

No Connection Between Website And Stock, Hope They Have It

Really bad experience. Ordered some curtains rings over 40 days ago, the customer service is keeping saying they can't find the rings and are keeping changing provider to see if they manage to retrieve them.

I asked several times to be refunded but they are denying it; this is really awful, they are obviously in trouble finding the rings, realizing it and accept to give me back my money would be the way a serious customer service would work.

I suggest to avoid them.

Over A Month

I ordered curtain poles and holdbacks from this company over a month ago. The poles came quickly and after numerous live chats 1 pair of holdbacks arrived 2 weeks later. Since then I have been in contact with them at least twice a week for the other pair. Eventually 1 single wrong holdback appeared. I am still waiting for the other pair over 5 weeks now, and the courier apparently tried to deliver yesterday at 12.46 and no one was in. Absolute rubbish as the delivery address is my shop which is open from 8.30 to 5.30. I am so fed up now.

I wish I had read other reviews before I purchased from them.
