Do Yourself A Favour And Avoid Trading Depot
Ordered items that were stated to be in stock. After a delay I received an email stating that there was going to be a 3-6 week wait. I emailed them to cancel order and get refund. Also, tried telephoning. I have been ignored, so have had to raise dispute with Amex. Taking money under false pretences for goods that cannot be supplied and failing to offer refund is totally unacceptable.

Very bad customer service rude telephone receponist took my money did not deliver goods and said that the goods has been dispached been three weeks the staff keeps on lieing no appology still waiting for full refund stay away very very poor service unproffesional very bad experince still waiting for refund or good . opended dispute with paypal for refund .

Charged Over 400% More For Product!
Please read my Trust Pilot review here: I know to expect to pay more in these ‘times’ but charging nearly £25 a bag (25kg) for Thistle Multi Finish Plaster when it should be no more than £7 a bag is outrageous! I didn’t know it was nearly 400% more as I needed a job done so bought 20 bags at £500 (delivered) - my plasterer nearly fainted and was outraged! Getting it myself was meant to save money on the job itself! Have contacted the company and their attitude is that they’ve had to pay more courier charges and the product is not normally one they sell - they had to buy it at inflated costs from their SISTER company and the shipping was more. Fine, I expect to pay more and did pay their shipping cost but REALLY what should have been £140 is £500. I’m going to lodge a complaint with the CMA as the response I’ve received from their customer services is that they can sell it for that price and so what...I’ve asked for £200 back which is reasonable and sent many examples of the same product being £7 and under - their site has a PRICE MATCH PROMISE also. Seems like taking advantage of a terrible situation and charging what you like. But £25 instead of £7? Really? More fool me for trusting a company with a price promise & great reviews.
I have been charged £500 for 20 bags rather than 150 - im asking for £200 back as they have a price promise and I’m not satisfied at all with the response I’ve received from customer services. I don’t mind the £150 even going onto shipping charges but this is ridiculous - I trusted Trading Depot to give me a fair price!

Tried to buy an item (NB 4+ stars on Trustpilot) and free delivery shown all the way through... until actual final checkout only produced payment options. So, a waste of time as delivery charges were all ridiculous.

Poor Service, Delivery Not As Promised
Awful service, we ordered an item (Aqualisa Quartz Shower Front Cover) on the 3rd January and got a 2-4day delivery advice. It is now 9 days later and still no order received. All over their paperwork it says if there are any delays they will contact you to notify you immediately. We have received no communications at all from this company. When phoning them the answers given are different every time but the general consensus is they don't know where our item is or when we can expect to receive it!
Being 7 months pregnant and now without a shower since 2nd January I don't think this is acceptable service at all. Having to go to relatives to beg a shower is not on!
Upon asking to speak to a manager I am told no one in management takes calls!
If I had known it would have taken near on 2 weeks we would have ordered elsewhere. The speedy delivery promised is not what we have received. If the item is out of stock with you then you notify the customer - it is not for us to have to chase you to find out what is going on. Really unimpressed
Poor Service
Contacted Trading Depot 4 days ago about Kitchen Taps, Bath Taps and Basin Taps, was advised that they would price match competitors. After providing all the relevant details to them and advising they were going to amend there website to reflect this, and price match, now advised they can't price match. What's the point of the price match promise. Very poor customer service, and 4 days of my life I wont get back.
Each case is judged on it's circumstances. We won't match against places selling off end of line stock at a loss for example. Neither will we match against companies who are advertising a product but can't actually fulfill it.

Useless Tradimg Depot
Ordered a shower 5th October still waiting 18th October, customer services do not answer emails and here is a response from them after chasing up a late delivery:

I have been waiting for Aquasila to get back to me as this is meant to have been dispatched.
No point replying if I have no information for you.
Aqualisa have said that this has left their depot and is on its way to is.

Without your full name or order number I can't look into your individual case but I know any delays are communicated by email as soon as we are aware of them.
I imagine you would have had an automatic update from us to this effect and perhaps it was caught up in your spam or junk folders as this happens quite a lot.
Our customer service team reply to all enquiries with 24hours (working hours, we don't work weekends) so queries made late on a Friday will be answered on the following Monday.

Aqualisa Shower Controller
Our shower broke down just before the new year, ideal timing. The manufacturer was closed until January 5th so could not help. I ordered the part on New Years eve and was told that it would arrive by the 9th of January, a long time to be without a shower but the very pleasant lady said she try for earlier.
The part arrived today, the 3rd of January.
It was well packed and I was very impressed.
I will definitely be using this company for any other parts and will recommend them unreservedly.

Excellent Customer Service And Fast Delivery
Sent them an email to check if the item I wanted was in stock and they replied very quickly. Placed the order online before cut off time and delivery was the next day. Not the lowest price compared to some companies (only slightly more) but I would rather pay a little bit extra for the peace of mind specially after bad experiences with some online companies.
Excellent customer service and I would highly recommend this company to anyone.
