Seasoned Diners

My partner and I are seasoned diners with over 100yrs international cuisine experience between us! So as you can imagine we entered Duet with trepidation - Italian and Indian....!

Starters = Carpaccio with parmesan proved to be better than my partner had recently eaten at a top restaurant in France and my smoked salmon with asparagus glazed in garlic butter was a delight. We asked for a delay with regard to the main course which was observed politely and with no fuss. We both chose a curry, (to test the theme) and then argued throughout as to who's was the most delicious!

Service? Impeccable! We made it clear we wanted privacy to some extent and this was observed religiously - however alongside this, quietly and unprompted, water and wine glasses were regularly refilled.

Duet is for now, an undiscovered gem - I am almost tempted not to review it in order to preserve its quiet yet superb quality.

If you are within a twenty mile radius of this restaurant pay it a visit. Ignore the other reviews with regard to Duet and trust two very fussy but very satisfied diners.

Whilst Waiting For Other Members Of Our Family Too

Whilst waiting for other members of our family too arrive we sat on the settees provided, only to be asked to move as we were taking up too much room. I thought thats what they were theres for!!! My curry was the worst tasting one that I have ever eaten in an indian restaurant and the portion sizes cannot be justified for the cost that you pay. Nan bread was the thickness of a popadom. Would never go there again

This Place Is The Worst Place I Have Ever Been To,

This place is the worst place i have ever been to, staff are the most rudest. I was there with 15 other people for a birthday meal, which was booked earlier on in the week so the staff were aware of this. Yet when we got there we were constantly getting told to keep the noise down as well as two other tables who would occasionally laugh? disgusting!! in the end we paid for our drinks and left took our money to spend in nearby restuarant in star city. People should dine there if they intend on speaking to the person your going to be dinig with....seriously.

First Time Visit To Duet In December For Xmas Meal

First time visit to Duet in December for xmas meal.

Called Duet as it combines a menu of italian and indian, the choice is yours. Your whole menu could be from one category or a mixture of both

The food service was quick and the food tasted excellent.

Good atmosphere.
