High Pressure Sales Tactics - Avoid This Place If You Can

Never known anything like it - I was only allowed to look at one car and make a decision on that one. I was not allowed to look at other cars.

And as for the ridiculous spiel regarding Gardex which they were trying to sell for £300 - why not simply have the car valeted every 2 months by a mobile service?

High pressure selling at its worse.

Awful First Experience

I was very interested in a Nissan car for sale and rang to book a test drive. I confirmed that I wanted to part-exchange my current car and asked how to proceed. The adviser seemed very helpful and told me to take all my car details with me, with my driving licence and proof of address, and an appointment was made for the next morning. I received 2 confirming e-mails.

However, when I arrived next day it appeared that nobody knew of my booking, and I was passed from one salesman to another. I was left waiting on two occasions for a long time, with no explanation, and then asked for lots of repetitive information. I was never given the opportunity to drive the car myself and a salesman opted to drive me round the block. On returning, I asked, for the second time, if someone was going to look at my car and give me a trade-in offer. I was then asked if I wanted to buy the Nissan as they would only look at my car if I confirmed this. I tried to point out that I needed a trade-in value before committing myself, but this fell on deaf ears. I was then told there would also be an admin fee of £149!

Basically, I found the whole process both totally out of touch and lacking in any sort of customer care. I will never go near this company again.

Very Very Disappointed !!

Sold our last car here and was happy so went back today . Was told my online quote was a true representation and that unlike webuyanycar they would not drop below online quote. THEY DID! Tried to palm me off about mileage - previous owners etc hence almost 40% lower offer than online , even though we put mileage in to get quote! Manager didn't even have decency to talk to us and sent a lowly sales rep after rep went to get him to explain the reason for the lower quote. Very disappointed , looks like car shop has now jumped on the webuyanycar bandwagon .... Shame.... We won't be using car shop again . (We bought our last 2 cars there )

All staff we dealt with were very helpful and courteous especially the person I dealt with who made the experience of buying a car as stress free as possible. The car was delivered to the showroom we were informed of its arrival had a test drive, any questions we had were answered, the paperwork was dealt with in a timely manner and we drove the car home. We are very pleased with our new purchase and would recommend the car shop.

Car Shops Best Sales Person''

I have just purchase a nice car from car shops Norwich branch and the person I dealt with gave excellent customer care and advise.

She was very knowledgeable and gave me the confidence to buy from the car shop, she made all the difference an enabled me to choose a lovely car.

I’m very happy with the service given from the person I dealt with and the car shop and would recommend anyone to ask her for her to help you chose the right car for you.

Outstanding From Start To Finish

Upon entering the showroom I was greeted by a friendly sales person. I was promptly sat down and asked what sort of car I was looking for and what my budget was. I was offered a cup of tea whilst Bev browsed through the current stock of cars. She asked me lots of questions in relation to what I needed the car for and then gave me her recommendations. Within ten minutes I was test driving, unbeknownst to me at the time my new car.

The test drive was perfect, I wanted the car!

The next stage was the finance application. I was sent to a modern well furnished office; where I met Josh (a finance specialist), he instantly explained to me in detail about the finance they offered and began the application. Within twenty minutes I had been approved and the car was now mine.

Next stage, into another office to tax my new car. I was greeted by a very friendly well dressed employee. She explained to me that she would help tax my vehicle, one ipad and five minutes later my vehicle was taxed.

Finally get handed the keys to my new car and I have the biggest smile on my face ever!!

I would like to say a huge thank you to The Car Shop Norwich for their professionalism and treatment I received throughout the process.

Whilst I hate to question any review there is no detail here on the car that was bought. We had a terrible experience with Car Shop Norwich (and we are very much not alone). We would encourage everyone on this platform to read both positive and negative reviews thoroughly and exercise caution.

A Great Service

i purchased my car 8 months ago and I have just taken my car in today for its service and mot, the staff on the reception were very friendly and kept me up to date on the progress of my car and the work required. I was very surprised at what a good price I got charged as I had two other quotes from a main dealer and another garage and Carshop saved me around 30% on the prices I had received elsewhere. Very happy and I will be back next year for my service and mot and hopefully in a few years I will be able to change my car again

Very Pleased Great Car

went to a few car garages today in Norwich and luckily for us the Car shop were open on a Sunday as we could then sit in a few cars and drive three. Found a very nice car that was less money than we had seen in another garage today that was closed which is not good as we both work all week so only have weekends free. As I said though all was well and we have just bought a new car. Thank you so much car shop Norwich

Friendly Staff

I was very impressed by staff and how nice everyone was. My partner commented how many customers seemed pleased with services as working in sales himself he notices these things and also said you could tell all the staff were happy to be there. Car was great and price was good so I am a very happy lady

C4 Gp. Tale Of The Transporter.

I can not fault the staff for their customer service in the Norwich branch.

We came into the branch to test drive a similar car and make arrangements for the vehicle to be brought up from Swindon. I chased up this by phone a few days later and was told that the vehicle's rear window was broken while on a transporter. The window could be fixed but there would be a delay as this had to go through the transporters insurance and could be 6 weeks. Swindon were not to release the car until the repair work was agreed and done.

We were in no rush to purchase and we're happy to wait as the incident was not the fault of Car Shop.

The only thing I would have liked was a bit more communication from Car Shop as to what was happening and more pressure put onto the insurance company to move things forward at a greater rate.
