Airport Car Hire Network

I went through a link on their website for car hire with snow tyres. I then selected a car only to be told after I'd booked it didn't include snow tyres and that this couldn't be added. Contacted the rental firm they said they couldn't guarantee snow tyres and would charge 50% if I canceled.

I've learned my lesson and will only use these sites to compare options and then go direct. I'd advise you to do the same.

Just booked a car for over new year at Alicante airport with Airport Car Hire net, thought it was too good to be true, premium insurance £40.00 extra. Immediately cancelled it because the full insurance is not with the hire car company but with Axa insurance. Everybody knows that hire car companies don't repair minor scratches and bumps, they just put a ring round it on the next customers booking form. Just think about it, all those bumps and scratches have cost previous customers their excess payments. And if you do scratch the car and need to make a claim through a third party insurance company, they will require the receipt for the repair. Well there wont be one because it won't be repaired and even if it was do you think the car hire company is going to provide you with a copy so that you can get back the one thousand Euros they have charged to your card? Ive been hiring cars in Europe for over 40 years and, trust me this is a sham. Only pay for full insurance with the hire car company if you want peace of mind. Only other alternative is to write the car off because that way a claim will definitely be made and you stand some kind of a chance of getting the excess back. Good luck

the car system was very easy and well run. the agent in the airport was very helpful. the target car rental was a little hard to find (signs very small)but other than that all went well.

Just used their website to book a car, very simple and easi to use.The car is good value at £74 for 5 days hire. Very pleased and looking forward to the hire.

Auto Europa was a joy to use. Simple and easy transfer on collection and return. Recommend to family and friends

We rented a Fiat 500 for a day an a half (36 hours) in Florence. While the service was excellent and the staff courteous and very efficient we found it was too expensive. We left the parking lot at 10:00 a.m. and returned the car the next day in the afternoon, we were charged 250 euros including gps, gas and insurance. Compared to renting in the US which would be less than $40 dollars.

We might consider the train the next time.

Just returned for Pisa in Italy where we rented a car for a week from Airport Car Hire Network. This is our fourth time renting from them and each time everything went smoothly and according to plan. The Car was brand new and very economical. Avis supplied the car and we got a better deal by booking with Airport Car Hire Network then we would have got by going to Avis directly. All the car hire desk are located in a building next door to the airport terminal and were very easy to find. Thank you so much for a great deal plus an excellent service
