I saw this company had great reviews, so chose them instead of one of the chain rental companies. Booking process was easy with competitive prices. Despite our late flight, we were met at arrivals by their rep, and the whole process was quick and easy. The car was fairly new, in great condition, and perfect for what we needed. Very friendly and professional staff, and the drop-off process was quick and easy too. We'd definitely use them again if we do a return visit to Crete and we recommend them to others.

The process from booking to delivering and collecting of the car rental in Heraklion Airport was very simple, easy and clear. We collected the car late in the night, a person was there waiting for us.

We signed the papers, checked the car and 5 minutes later we hit the road. We had paid the whole amount online via their website. We liked the fact that their price was all inclusive and nothing extra were asked upon delivery or collection.

The car drove us perfectly, even though we were 9 people (yes, it was a minibus - a new silver Opel Vivaro with a great diesel engine)

On the way back, we parked the car in the same private parking of theirs (just 100m from the terminal), the guys checked it and we left to catch our flight.

Bottom line, 100% recommended

Firstly the price paid was good but the car was slightly a let down.

Good service at airport, picked up and taken to the car park to collect the car. Was shown to a 4 year old Peugeot 207 which, at first glance, looked ok. I was given a brief explanation of the equipment and was told when I returned the car just to park it up and drop the key off at reception. The cars are not checked in or out which is not a good sign if you expect a well looked after vehicle.

The car had some scrapes etc, the interior was very dirty lots of dust/sand some water marks on some of the seats. It looks like these cars are dropped off and immediately picked up by the next hirer, with minimal or no prep. This was confirmed by approx 10 Crete road maps in the glovebox and previous insurance/hire agreements in the car dating back 2 months. Indeed the one for the person who dropped the car off earlier that day, we collected it, was still in there.

The car drove ok apart from the occasional whining, although I would not bother upgrading to a larger engine 1.4, as we did, as it was the most under powered unit you can buy. Better off hiring a 1.1 with the body size designed for that engine power.

So if you are looking for a very well kept car don't bother, if you want something to get you around and not have the worry of picking up a scratch or two, as they are not fussed, then you can't go wrong really.... oh however they really should at least clean the cars inside and out this includes wiping down the dash, glass and plastics, and remove the stash of maps and old hire agreements as these have personal data on them (although really you should remove these yourself)

We pre-booked online and completed the admin before flying. The car we asked for was delivered to our Heraklion Hotel on time and handover guy was helpful and efficient. No extras, no hassle. We returned the car 14 days later to the airport and again no problems.

We will use them again.

Booked online, prepaid online. Website was clear and simple to use. No sudden "surprises" at check out time. Near to our arrival date we were sent a form to complete with our passport details etc which meant we did not have to stand around doing this basic stuff upon our arrival - winner!

We were a late night arrival. Staff treated us like human beings making no attempt to rush us along.

The vehicle we had booked, and paid for, was not available so they upgraded us without any ill-will, quibbling or additional charges.

We were shown how to operate the vehicle, shown how to operate the satnav and advised where to buy fuel for our onward journey.

Unfortunately during our hire I backed into a bollard. The incident was dealt with without any hysteria and their insurance cover meant that there was nothing to pay for my mistake. On returning the damaged vehicle the attitude was friendly and helpful.

Would I recommend Just Rentals? How could I not!

Justrentals provides a great car hire service. The website sets out everything very clearly with no small print. The car was excellent, nearly new, just as promised and the fully comprehensive insurance package means you have no worries about any mishap. The prices are very competitive and the service was first class all the way from the initial booking to the return of the car.

The handling of the order through internet is professional. I got exactly the car I have ordered which was in good condition and was delivered exactly how defined. Prices are competitive.

Chose Just Rentals on the basis of other people's recommendations and am happy to add my own. Simple, efficient service with a friendly 'meet and greet' at arrivals and a few minutes walk to the car. Had filled in the car driver details form they emailed a few days before the hire, and consequently the pick-up took just a few minutes. Excellent, clean, relatively new Ford Focus with an economical and smooth engine. Good value and no 'hidden extras' - eg for fuel they just asked for it to be returned with the same amount of fuel at drop-off as at the start. Drop-of at the end of the hire was similarly simple and fast.

Friendly and efficient staff, no hassle, and the quickest return possible - we were met as we pulled up outside the front door of Chania airport. Good service and very good value. We thought our own satnav would work in Crete - it didn't.
