Scandal
Picked car up with dents all over it. The guy marked the dents with just a dot from his pen I asked him to make it bigger he said "No problem" but dident. As he was doing the marks I noticed he had his hand inbeeteen to stop the carbon copy showing up anything. I took my copy back to the desk and asked for it to be re done. The guy after 5mins of saying no sort of did it. You have to pay 5 Euro to get the car from the car park.....your told its 1 Euro. Not looking forward to taking the car back....

Excellent Service From Booking To Collection And Car Return
We wanted a 7 seater where all 3 children could be in the middle row of seats with adequate space for luggage and Grandma. Roig offered the same car a Citroen C4 Grand Picasso, the same as we have in the UK. The office ladies answered lots of my questions quickly and reassured me that we would defintely have that car not a substitute like most car hire companies do. The desk is on level 4 of the main carpark at Palma airport and on both Saturdays for arrival and departure we went straight to the desk - no queues. The paperwork was easy and a member of staff came to check the bodywork and tyres with us. You need a few euros to exit the carpark. On our return we went straight up to level 4 passing a queue in the next lane for those returning cars to those companies on the ground floor. There is no charge for cleaning out the car and you return the car with a full tank. Top marks ROIG and I will book every time with you.

I've hired from Autos Roig many times and have always had good service and fair prices compared to other companies. Their cars are clean and low mileage, and pickup is from the airport multi-storey car park, so no messing about waiting for minibuses to off-airport car parks. Their fuel policy is to return the car with a full tank, which I prefer to the stress of wondering if you're going to make it to the airport with an empty tank, having paid an inflated price for the fuel in the first place. Staff are pleasant and speak several languages.
The only problem I've had with them was this October (2013) when the man at the desk told me twice that it was a diesel car, which is also what was written on the key tag. When I got to the car the filler cap was clearly labelled "Sin Plomo 95". It could have worked out very expensive for an unwary person! It does worry me a bit that their standards may be starting to slip, but I hope it was just a one-off.
I always pay for the (admittedly extortionate) extra insurance because I know from experience that unscrupulous car rental firms often charge for non-existent or pre-existing damage, but I've only read one review of Autos Roig doing this.

I rented from ROIG Rent a Car in Palma airport in July 2012 and I have nothing but the highest praise for the company.
The pick up was quick, easy and stress free on the 4th floor of the airport car park. The car was in excellent condition with a "full tank and return full" policy. I paid what was shown over the internet so no unexpected surprises afterwards. The people I dealt with during the hire process were pleasant and efficient. They may not be the very cheapest, but in my opinion you absolutely get what you pay for.
