Paid Upfront, Didn’t Answer Phone For Transfer Col

Paid upfront, didn’t answer phone for transfer collection from Naples airport. Has to walk 20 mins to office! Had taken excess full insurance cover in UK before trip. Employee aggressive, rude, totally obnoxious! Booked through Kayak, which diverted to a broker, car rental8.com- employee refused to give car unless we paid 700 euros for extra insurance. Decided to count our loses and hired from ‘My rental car’ in central Naples. A totally different experience. Now trying to get money back from the broker. Everyone needs to report to the European Consumer centre as lots of brokers using this car company. Don’t use them.

Aweful "sure- Prise" Indeed

We rented a car at Belgrade airport. This was by far the WORST experience so far:

- They didn't provide all the services contracted online- we booked wifi and the child seat. They managed to find a seat at the end, but we had to take the car without wifi for the same price.

- Insurance that we booked was not valid for them, so they made the offer with their own insurance.

- And the worst thing is that they tried to trick us when we dropped off the car. They wanted to charge a parking fine, while the fault was made one day before we took the car. The guy at their desk refused to contact the parking service and acted rude, saying that we should contact them, it's not their business. When I said I don't have any phone credit left, and we are in a hurry to catch a plane, he said he can't lend me a phone by any means. After recharging at the gas station near by, I contacted the parking service that confirmed that the fault was made on a day before we took the car. After a parking service lady had confirmed that directly to the desk guy (I passed the phone to him), he didn't even apologize.

It is so said that services like this have a licence to operate. So, friendly advice, AVOID THIS AGENCY.

Do Not Rent A Car From Surprice In Naples Italy

DO NOT RENT A CAR FROM SURPRICE IN NAPLES ITALY. This company is not located in the airport and you have to walk a way from the airport to catch a shuttle. You have to call them for a shuttle and wait for it to come pick you up. When and if they pick you up, they take you to a dark parking lot for the SHAM to begin. We had rented a car for a good price but when we went to pick up the car they tried to charge us double. They began pressuring us in a dark parking lot to pay more money - While the car was right there, they wouldn't let us pick it up unless we agreed to pay double the original price. Once we realized what was going on, we were scared and desperately tried to get back to the airport. We were so thankful to finally get out of that parking lot and we went back to the airport to rent a car. We wasted 2 hours trying to pickup the car that we had rented - to no avail. They know that there is a shortage of cars and they try to take advantage of you. As we left, they laughed at us and told us that we would be back to rent the car from them because we would not be able to rent a car at that late date. AGAIN, WE WERE SCARED IN A DARK PARKING LOT WITH THEM. We are now fighting with our credit card company to have the charges removed. Yes they billed us for the vehicle that we did not receive.

Avoid In Skopje Airpirt With (surprice Aka Starcar)

I have used SurPrice in the past without issue.

SurPrice = Star Car

Do NOT accept VW Polo SK 0359 BH - this is a hazard to the driver and other road users

Car should be taken off the road - slow puncture in tyre completely flat each morning. Engine light permanently on. Engine loses power intermittently (in a mountainous country!). Car lock broken (physically).

Rental company did not respond to complaint which included a clear explanation and photos.

When chased, basically said "prove it".

The worst rental company I have ever dealt with. They took my deposit of 650 euros and did not return it. Zero communication, no one responds. Surprice branch in Turkey Antalya airport. According to the document I received, the deposit should be returned within 14 days.

I recently had an unfortunate experience with SurPrice car rental that left me frustrated and disappointed. I feel compelled to share my story to warn others about their questionable practices.

Our ordeal began when our original flight from the UK was delayed by a full 24 hours. Understandably, this forced us to explore alternative flight options. We promptly informed SurPrice of our situation and inquired about the possibility of picking up the car outside of their normal operating hours. The gentleman we spoke to over the phone was polite and accommodating, and he mentioned a reasonable additional cost of 100 euros for the after-hours service, which we found acceptable given the circumstances.

Ultimately, we managed to secure an alternate flight that allowed us to arrive at the car rental location well in advance of their closing time. However, our shock came when we were hit with an unexpected late arrival fee of 85 euros. This fee was imposed because we arrived more than 3 hours later than our original booking time, despite the fact that our reservation was fully paid for, and we were well within SurPrice's regular business hours.

To our bewilderment, the two gentlemen at the rental desk were unable to provide a satisfactory explanation for this charge. They repeatedly referred to a supposed "3-hour late rule" as grounds for imposing the fee, even though it was clear that they had not incurred any additional costs due to our arrival time. We had proactively informed SurPrice of our anticipated late arrival on multiple occasions prior to our flight, yet they chose to exploit our situation, which unfolded late at night, with two exhausted children in tow and no immediate recourse through the third-party booking company.

In light of this experience, I strongly advise anyone considering renting a car from SurPrice to think twice. Their opportunistic practices and unjustified fees have left a sour taste in my mouth, and I would encourage travelers to explore alternative car rental options to avoid unnecessary stress and expense. It's essential to choose a car rental company that values its customers and provides fair, transparent service, which, unfortunately, SurPrice failed to deliver in this instance.

I Will Not Recommend Surprice Venice Car Rental To Others. *

I will not recommend SurPrice Venice Car Rental to others. *Unacceptable Cancellation and Refusal of Refund*

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction and disappointment with my recent experience at the Venice branch of SurPrice Car Rental. I made a reservation for a rental car for seven days, paid the rental amount in full, and also paid for insurance in full, well in advance of my planned trip. However, upon arrival at the Venice SurPrice Car Rental, I was informed that my booking had been canceled without any prior notice or explanation and, to my utter disbelief, no refund would be issued. I was informed that the only refund possible would be from the insurance company. 

I find the manner in which SurPrice Car Rental Venice has treated my booking and insurance payment to be nothing short of disgraceful and unprofessional. I made my reservation in good faith, paying in full for both the rental and the insurance, and expected to receive the services I paid for. To cancel my reservation without providing any justification, notification, or compensation is not only a breach of trust but also, I believe, a breach of the terms of our agreement.

I strongly urge you to review your policies and procedures regarding cancellations and refunds and to rectify the situation immediately. My trip to Venice has been overshadowed by the stress and inconvenience caused by your company's actions. I am extremely disappointed with your lack of communication, unprofessional behavior, and blatant disregard for your customers.

Furthermore, I would like to emphasize that I will not recommend SurPrice Venice Car Rental to others. I intend to share my unfortunate experience with family, friends, colleagues, and on social media and review platforms. Prospective customers deserve to know how SurPrice Car Rental treats its customers and should be aware of the potential risks involved in doing business with your company.

In conclusion, I expect an immediate and satisfactory resolution to this matter, including an explanation and an appropriate refund. Please understand that if this issue is not addressed promptly and to my satisfaction, I will not hesitate to escalate the matter to the appropriate authorities and seek legal recourse if necessary.

On the invoice, it is listed as SurPrice. The car pick-up location is prominently marked as ParkinGO Venice. To the customer, these appear to be one and the same company, but they are using different names, seemingly to deceive customers.

In A Simple 7-day Rental In Turkey, I Have Had 3 A

In a simple 7-day rental in Turkey, I have had 3 attempts by the subcontractor. Complaints to Carjet fall on deaf ears. They are clearly aware that their subcontractor is bad, but they don't seem to care. They are probably just partners and split the profits.

The problems begin when they arrive at the Dalaman airport, in Turkey.

My car was to be picked up at 3:00 a.m. and the same time for delivery 6 days later.

The instructions were clear;

"A representative of SURPRICE RENT A CAR will be waiting for you at the arrival gates of Dalaman International Airport with his name on a board to take you to his vehicle, which will be parked near the airport."

At 02.15 we were out and we waited until 03.30 and no one showed up.

After calling several times, we received a WhatsApp with instructions to go pick up. It was already 04:15. After a long trip, we started badly.

Upon arrival, first sham attempt: 40 Euros for pick up and delivery after hours (The schedule was clearly typified at the time of payment).

Credit card for a deposit of 511 Euros, since we had full insurance with a franchise.

After charging, the tension with the worker continues.

Already arriving hot and before all this, I tell the worker, that apart from being inefficient.

Then comes the second attempt:

He tells me that he is not giving me the car and that he is going to refund my payments. I tell him that there is no problem, as long as he reimburses me for the charges that he had made for the pick-up, the deposit, and the original payment for the vehicle, to which he replies that he can only reimburse the charges that he made to me there.

This is so that you do not take the car, but keep the rental amount, since they will not return it to you if you do not pick up the car. Reading on the internet seems to be a habitual practice. Either because you can't find where they are, or for a reason like this, you leave without a car, losing the money originally paid for rent.

I refuse. I tell him to give me the car and he rudely agrees.

We pick up the car. Holidays starting badly. Concern for the car because we know that they will look for any problem in the delivery.

The day to return the car, we left Marmaris. We check that the car has absolutely nothing before leaving.

We travel the 90 kilometers without getting out of the car.

We arrive at the airport and the same person is there.

Before we got out of the car, while we made sure not to leave anything inside, this person walks around the car quickly as if to check, says nothing and moves several meters away from the car, waiting for us to pack our bags and remove everything from the car.

When we finished, being at night and with a very dim yellow light, we found a scratch on the rear bumper. The scratch was undeniable. Although it seemed impossible, since it was not in Marmaris, there was a small scratch of about 5 cm.

It could only be a stone thrown from another car during those 90 km or something like that, since we were very sure that it was not at our exit from Marmaris 90 km earlier.

Very kindly, the man feeling like a winner, tells us not to worry, that it was very little. On 21 days there would be an assessment and they would inform me of the cost and they would return the deposit percentage.

With the flight only 2 hours away and the rush, we took a few photos of the scratch and went to catch our flight.

The surprise comes later, when we reviewed the photos we had taken on the plane. The quality of mobile photos is now good and they allow you to enlarge without losing quality. We discovered with complete certainty that the Surprice worker, Carjet's subcontractor, had made us that slightest scratch with a key. The following, as expected:

Contact with Carjet is very difficult and when you get it, they attend to you, but there is never an answer. The deposit after 15 days goes from retained to liquidated, without any kind of contact from anyone. Sham of the entire deposit, for a scratch that they have made themselves. Some sham professionals. The scratch is made in that first fast lap, it is made in the place where I, being inside the car, it is impossible for me to see it. (If I go out I have his back).

The photos leave no doubt. The scratch is produced with a sharp object and with pressure (A key). The paint chips are still there.

Fix for good impossible. You withhold payment from the bank impossible. Despite being just a "deposit" and a hold payment, the bank can no longer do anything. On the other hand, there is no crime until the collection is settled, so there is nothing to do with the bank until they are settled. Carjet seems to be an accomplice and a necessary collaborator in this.

A complaint and an expert examination of the scratch have been prepared.

I will tell you how it all ends, but ESCAPE FROM CARJET.COM and SURPRICE, its subcontractor at least in Dalaman airport in Turkey.
