This Car Renting Experience Was A Nightmare
This car renting experience was a nightmare. We were told that there would be a representative from the YES BULGARIA Rent a Car company waiting at the airport and taking us to the rental car. That was not the case. There was no-one waiting at the airport. As we tried to call the companies number no-one picked up. Not to mention we tried calling a lot of times. Through all this we also lost money that was already paid for the car in advance! And no one from the company has contacted us since. In the end it caused a lot of stress and took up time from our trip. We never go the car and were forced to rent from another company on the spot. We will never work with this company again and you should think really hard before renting a car from them!

Well, now I am reading the reviews I understand that unfortunately we fell for the same scam.
Picked up the car at Sofia Airport. There was no office on the site to my surprise but ok, assumed it was nearby. The guy asked us for a credit card to take the refundable deposit of €300. According to the booking confirmation, the amount should have been blocked but not taken from the card. He explained that they actually take the money and then refund them back 14 to 30 days after the car is returned if there was no damage on the car etc. We did not have a choice but to agree to this so we could get the car. The car was returned in exactly the same condition over a month ago and I am still waiting to get my €300 back. I have managed to speak to someone from the company and was reassured that the money will be returned. Now it has been over a month since we returned the car, no one is picking up the phone or replying to my e-mails.
I would like to connect to other people affected by this rental company and may be raise a collective claim.

A Month Later - No Deposit Returned - Car Was Very Poor
Starting with the worst part, they kept the 300 Euro deposit we gave them, and never returned our calls/emails/texts - The car was returned in perfect condition
The car itself was very old and pretty damaged, the lock barely functioned. Communication with the team was very poor. We waited 30-40 min at the airport both times despite giving them arrival times well in advance.
You get what you pay for I guess..
If the deposit is returned, I can forgive the rest.

They give to me 15 years old and unsafe car and they told to me taked or leave it but after 20 kilometres dashboard start flashing and when I called them they said to not worry car is ok.On 80kilometers away from airport car stopped and start smoke from the bonnet I called them maybe 50 timemes but the didn't answered.I call them around 2 hours but still nothing and after that I call recovery and I paid 180 euro.Now I call them every day 10 times per day but still noting and next week I'm going to sofia to find good lawyer and give them to the court.

Don't worry to all people ,i read the revues ,now they did same with me ,but i know the rules in bulgaria ,and i will start them to all courts because thats fully sham ,so i will report this everywhere were is possible and never gonna leave it ,as this sham shouldn't work in Bulgaria.

A month later no return. Any connection with customer service impossible
Car returned in exactly same condition. No check with customer when returning car. A month later they finally decided to answer on my hundreds of emails
With information that they found some scratch so my deposit won't be returned.
As proof they send me pictures been taken 3 hours after when I returned car
And my agreement without my signature on overcheck when car was returned. If anyone had previous experience like that contact with me we can fight with this illegal practice and contact with European customer care and suit those cheaters

As other have already mentioned, they charge the deposit (300E) and never return it!! The car was returned in perfect condition, and was inspected by them upon return. After 2 months not having returned the deposit and not answering to my emails, I referred to the European consumer center, and the response that YES sent to them was that a day after they found some sort of damage in the front, which of course never existed! Something must be done collectively!!
