Car Insurance Amendment

I found out to my detriment that you cannot upgrade the RAC cover to cover breakdown outside your premises. I was only covered from at least 1/4 mile away. The RAC don’t hold the policy, so again you have to pay a yearly fee, I was quoted another £151 ! by RAC .

Reading between the lines RAC would bill Sainsburys for any call-outs, therefore able to pocket even more profit. Also almost impossible to speak to either of them. I spent at least 4-5 hours trying to get somewhere. In the end I called an old mechanic to investigate my flat battery. Be Warned do not use Sainsburys Car Ins. and check all multiple docs they sent you.

I would have liked to know that I couldn’t change my policy with Sainsburys Car Insurance.

What A Cheek!!

I still can't believe that I received this renewal quote from Sainsbury Bank but there it was in an email nonchalantly and in a way that they seemed proud of themselves telling me that my renewal cost will be a total price: £836.32 and reminded me that last year's total price was £267.70. Just FYI, that's an extortionate increase of 312%!!! Disgusting!!

Only Been With Them For A Month And I Will Not Be Renewing

First time having to prove no claims, I receive a letter two weeks after it was dated saying to prove this or basically we will cancel. I send proof with the words this is proof of no claims and they haven’t accepted, apparently tried to contact me which I haven’t receive anything! And again threatening to cancel my policy rather than discussing what we could do before these steps, they seem to like threatening with cancelling policy. And then trying to call someone when you work until their call centre closing time is not brilliant!

Car Insurance - No Repair For Damaged Car After 3 Months

A minor accident in early December 2022 and now 13 Feb 2023. Registered accident and made claim but the service is non existent. No repairer assigned, not able to get a straight answer from "Insurance company", no repsonse from Sainsbury Insurance - the people who remove money from my Bank account for a service they cannot cover.

Another 2 plus hours spent ringing these arrogant B******ds and no one will even answer the phone.

Avoid this company they are useless.

If I could have given a negative rating I would have done so..........

Money Grabbing Twonks

Having used them last year as they seemed to be the go to for insurance, this year I find myself appalled for their renewal quote, they had over doubled the quote despite everything being the same, I sure am glad I managed to turn auto-renewal off a while ago. Wouldn't touch them with a barge pole again.

Worse experience ever. Got 3 points and called them up to let them know so they can add it on my policy and it came back from them that they can't insure me anymore. And in the same morning my direct debit been collected by them. And I've seen no money back from them. I don't recommend them. They are the Worse I even seen.

Auto Renew Cheats

As insurers I had no problem, however phoning multiple lines, being on hold for a combined 5 hours, cut off numerous times and a very rude customer service rep, I applaud anyone who manages to prevent their auto renewal. My partner has a policy renewing with AA last week and was sorted in under 30 minutes. Sainsburys = disgrace.

Do not get trapped by them.

No but rated trader are good or myhammer is really good. Rated trader was good at sorted out issue I wasn't happy with.
